Protesting at a government building in tactical gear while openly armed with military style weapons is an implied threat of violence. It says, "Give us what we want or we are prepared to use force." There, I said it. :bergman:

You must not see a whole lot of people in open carry states going to grocery stores with their gun on their hip. Liberals are scared of any and every gun owner so no surprise that they’d think the simple presence of a gun is an act of violence.

Elwood is hardly a liberal, but I am. And I agree: open carry is an act of violence.

What does it matter if people wear Klan robes if they aren't actively burning crosses on people's lawns?

But someone wearing a BLM shirt makes you shit yourself with fear and go for your strap-on before it's safe for you to go pick up milk and bread. Go figure.

There, I have once again implied that you’re a stupid kid. Nearly every time in the past that someone has done this, you’ve thrown a shit fit over it, despite the fact that it’s a person’s First Amendment right to do so. By your logic, you’re the one in the wrong being upset by this. So, if you’re going to say that there’s nothing wrong with folks marching around a state Capitol with firearms on display, then you don’t get to bitch when we call you a child.

In most states, you have to be 21 to own a handgun, so he's got a few years before he can carry.

You’re a lawyer are you not? Do you sometimes represent people that you may not like or that you think is definitely guilty of the crime they are accused of?

Where I live, people open carrying handguns is so ubiquitous I hardly ever notice, but if I saw someone in the Bi-Lo with an AR slung, I'd just go across the street to Food Lion, because that person is looking for trouble.

Your posting history proves that's a goddamn lie. :async:

I bet if your fellow "patriots" had managed to flip back the house and senate by killing enough Democrats, you'd be singing a completely different tune. :brood:

That’s right, resort to trolling and insults instead of a solid argument because you don’t have one.

And you don't think wandering around a state capitol with a long gun isn't trolling? Not to mention, trolling is protected under the First Amendment, so once again, you've no right to bitch about someone doing that, by your logic.

I've lived in a lot of cities but never one where open carry is ubiquitous. The few times I've run into it left me feeling cold. What kind of idiot thinks it's cool? More important: the idiot has a gun?!

This isn't a thing in Kennesaw, Marietta or any small GA town I've been to. In Charlotte it's positively uncool.

I've lived in NC, UT, CO, FL, GA, CA, WA. It's just not a thing.

Why would you live in such a place?
