I learned a new term this weekend.
Ohhhh no you don't.
The word chocolate literally has a different meaning on either side of the Atlantic, the key legal difference being the minimum required levels of cocoa. Several brands actually produce different variants for the different markets.
I'll grant you that, US beer does seem to have improved since I was over there, although the Germans have everyone beat there.
We have all the fancy chocolates you do with all the variations of levels of cocoa or cacao in them.
It's not hard to find them. Just open your eyes next time you're in America.
Although there was that whole thing where Hershey managed to get Cadbury imports from Britain banned in the U.S.
and here in the US we have brands of chocolate that list (up front & center) the exact percentage of cocoa it contains.
Side note I don't always eat chocolate but when I do I prefer it hard and cold, as in keeping it in my refrigerator until ready to consume.
just thought of something.....chocolate covered cherries!
did those dumb motherfuckers just label New Mexico as Arizona?
YES those dumb motherfuckers labeled NM as AZ. Somebody will just blame it on grabbing a random map image off the internet at the last minute, like Trump's briefing with the eagle holding golf clubs for example. I weep for our nation.
They sure did.
I'll just leave this right here.
Hate crimes increased 226% in places Trump held a campaign rally in 2016, study claims
Thanks to the El Paso incident, 8Chan is losing its network service.
Paladin is overjoyed baffled as to why rabid dogs would appear when all you've done is keep using a dog whistle.
Look at the comments. They are actually getting push back for their decision.
Of course they are.
I've been sharing this with people I know via text (I don't do politics on FB, it's just not worth it) and the consensus is that there hasn't been a political cartoon this apt and biting in a long time.
And Kraft have replaced the Cadbury chocolate on a lot of the products with their own stuff.
I see that rancid piece of distended rectum that is Rick Santorum has popped up to push the "shooter chose a soft target because folk wouldn't be armed because gun laws waaaaa!!!" angle, despite - y'know- TEXAS.
Also see the old "violent video games are training kids to dehumanize their targets!!! Murder simulators!!!" schtick is being rolled out again.
Amazing how every other First World country - even those with plenty of guns - also has kids playing these games and yet DOESN'T have a mass shooting every other fucking week.
and nothing of value will be lost.
Just like I said last week regarding his casual racism. President is normalising this unsavory behavior, and the risk is not that Trump does something obscene, but rather all the idiots who listen to him do.....
PS - Paladin is overjoyed.
"contributing factor" does not mean "only factor".
But it can indeed be a way of misdirecting attention when thrown into the mix unnecessarily.
Occams' Razor should always apply.
all those points undermine the entire logic behind the good-guy-with-a-gun trope but go ahead
I was playing that all around in my head there trying to figure out if it was just me.
I've seen probably a dozen in the last few years in rural MS, I don't even remember when it became legal
See since it doesn't make the news, no one knows - it's just "plenty" - which is to say, however many i need it to be to argue the point.
It's a classic black box argument. Just take his word for it, there's enough of them to prove that his opinion is correct.
since a lot of you folks bitch when I try to put things into perspective when it comes to gun deaths versus every other preventable thing that can kill us, how about listening to this guy? You don't want to hear from a caveman, maybe a more educated, intelligent mind can lay it out for you:
Separate names with a comma.
