I met JG Hertzler at a LARP, where he played an admiral on a doomed fleet lost in space. Super nice guy, and he did a great rendition of the St Crispin's Day speech. It was his first LARP, Outbound Hope, and he thought it was very interesting, equating it to continuous improv, which is pretty much correct. He was a paid actor for the game, and he and his girlfriend are very nice people and had time and a kind word for everyone.

If you get a chance to try Outbound Hope I'd heartily recommend it, they run it every year on the destroyer Edson in Michigan, and the team does a fantastic job, including custom programs that run the ship and handles space combat. You spend 3 days onboard the destroyer, though they have some prescouted 'landing' locations.

They aren't running it again until 2022 because of covid, but if room ever opens up, I heartily recommend it.
