It seems to me that the issue at hand here is why we continue to give legal and constitutional protections to a bunch of fairy tale bullshit, whether it has its roots in Christianity, Judaism, Islam or whatever other goofy rules people follow. Hell, even within Islam there is great controversy and debate over whether the Qur'an explicitly requires women to cover their faces. If there's no place for the Ten Commandments and Lord's Prayer in public institutions (which there shouldn't be), then there's no place for this nonsense either.
