By which logic America should be the subject of regime change after your actions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Iran, Vietnam.

The British Empire was around for a good while and it helped establish Pax Britannica.

The Roman Empire helped establish Pax Romana.

The U.S. of course is not an empire.

Hence my point, the US is not indispensible and the various Paxes have come at a heavy cost in human lives, the US is just the latest in a long line.

By and large the most powerful nations tend to stay that way for a matter of a few centuries at best and either face invasion or implode. Interestingly one of the few nations to consistently sit in the top flight so to speak for any longer period is, well, Russia.

India also has potential, but China's very much on the economic scene with Africa. India would have to get creative - Central America, perhaps, but the US would not like that at all methinks

Heaven forbid. Only the US can be successful, anyone else wielding any power or influence is clearly a rogue state and threat to world peace.

    Here's a hit of a different kind:

Isle of Lesbos a 1940s Technicolor-style fantasy extravaganza with a modern and subversive twist. Isle of Lesbos is set in two worlds: Bumfuck, Arkansas, a one horse god fearin' town and the Isle of Lesbos, a different dimension in time and space where lesbians rule the universe.

    See it on Amazon Prime.

Dayton said something dumb but that doesn’t excuse your misusing a word which you clearly do not understand the definition of. I suggest you look up the definition of totalitarianism so you can use it correctly next time.

Totalitarianism is a system which requires complete and total subservience. That is what Dayton proposes for most of the world.
The fact that he thinks that the United States possesses a single "will" is also massively disturbing.

I'm so proud of this thread I gave birth to.

Six years old, and still going strong.

I can really only give thanks to @Dayton Kitchens for being such a complete and utter dumbass, and the members of Wordforge who work diligently to call him on his assery.

Taking six years to respond to a post and asking questions doesn't refute anything, it simply shows that you're unable to defend what you post. And the mind of a simpleton.

    No.

There's a nuance. Google it if you don't believe me.

Assery = Immature, foolish behavior; behavior typical of a dumbass.
