I have always been a fan of the Mozilla browser so it is what I use. Something odd has happened.

All ad blockers just stopped working but only on firefox. I cannot even download and install the plug ins anymore. I have tried multiple different ones and no success. The plug ins are disabled and there seems to be no way to enable them again. When I try to install different ad blocker it says the download is corrupt and cannot be installed.

I have tried to look this up and I have seen little to nothing about it yet. I can install the blockers on the win 10 browser (never going to use it, but did it just to see). I downloaded chrome and I can install different ad blockers on that.

I really don't want to switch to chrome, and I am really used to and like the Mozilla product. I was happy when they ran from Netscape and AOL. I do hope this will resolve itself because the internet is damn horrible when it is wide open to most ads and all you can block is pop ups.

I'm pretty sure once Gant successfully escaped after shooting down the other prototype that it was clear sailing from there.

I jump between Firefox and Vivaldi. FF because it's fast and has some solid features, but Vivaldi's my main browser because it has extensions FF doesn't have, and is based on the Chromium engine without phoning home to Google.

The Brave browser really clamps down on folks trying to get your info. To be any more secure you’d have to use the TOR browser.

I guess they’ve worked most of the bugs out, then. I remember hearing about Brave a few years ago, and it had a lot of potential then. I may check it out, thanks! :)

I use the mobile version on my phone and haven't had an issue yet.

I’m more of a desktop user, myself. All mouse and keyboard, big monitor, etc.

Well, it's handy on a phone, since it's got a built-in ad blocker. On the desktop, I use a combination of browsers, I have each one configured for different things (it often being faster and easier to launch a new browser than to sign out of one account and sign into another on a site).
