it's Netflix though....a lot of their movies are "end of the world" movies so coughing up lungs and keeling over dead would fit right in!

In their desperation to make money we could see this virus change the industry in a big way.

When you want to watch a boxing match you either go to the site or you pay $49.99 (or some other price) to watch it on TV.

I think some of these studios might try that with the new films. Pay $29.99 to watch a movie on it's release date at home. If that works we will see more of it in the future.

I drove by my local theatre today. It wasn't closed, but the parking lot maybe had a half dozen cars in it.

On a Sunday. During spring break.

so Red Notice turned into....Pink Slip for your son? Yes my son will be off for as long as the school where he works remains closed beginning Monday. He might get a part-time job but if the city goes into lockdown like Italy who will be hiring? Lots of shit hitting the fan all the way around next week and in the weeks to come. That shoe can't drop fast enough, so I can see what we're up against and adjust fire accordingly. To me it's the civilian version of 19 March 2003. I didn't know exactly what tomorrow would bring but I had a feeling it wouldn't be pretty!

With the increased number of people with high quality home cinema setups it would be interesting, could lead to people getting together for viewing parties.

That said, the instant these things are available for home streaming they will also be available to torrent.

They were actually pretty decent. As a "day-player" most gigs are call when you need help. Netflix (or the main production company) paid him an extra 60 hours when they told him he was no longer needed.
