Just answer the question honestly.
I should have put. If you are of legal drinking age.
You don't have to be of legal age to get alcohol.
But I haven't had as much as a can of beer. So no, I have not drank alcohol and then driven a car.
Yes, but stayed within the legal limit.
I have done so on several occasions in the past and I was lucky. Not an intelligent thing to do at all.
I've done alot of stupid things in my life, but never that.
Technically, yes, of course. I have consumed alcohol in my life and have driven in the period since.
Have I ever driven under the influence? Only once--maybe. It was the day after my wedding, and I may still have had alcohol in my system. It felt like it, but I may just have been tired.
Generally speaking, I don't consume any alcohol if I expect to drive, and I don't drive if I have. I can feel the difference in my coordination and reflexes after half-a-pint. Not that I'm a lightweight.
I have, but I've never been drunk behind the wheel. Even when I've been really, really hammered, I knew to keep away from the car.
I will be the honest one here and admit that I have driven when I had a few too many beers and also I have driven when I had no choice because I was too drunk to walk. That is all behind me now and I worry about driving when I have only had 1 or 2 beers. I was bad to ride my motorcycle when I was hammered, the gyroscpic effect of the wheels keeps you up even when you cannot stand.
You ALWAYS have a choice. It's called a fuckin' taxi.
I did once when I was in college. Definitely not a smart thing to do.
I'm driving down the road drunk a fuck and typing this right now!
The "too drunk to walk part was a joke, Marso", but there are not taxis in a lot of places, and who could afford them it there were. Like I said, that is all long behind me. I am older and wiser now.
Had a DUI when I was 25. Had numerous times prior to that when I was far worse off than that, and drove too. Luckily, no wrecks and nobody hurt. Youth, Stupidity, and booze don't mix.
I've never driven drunk and I won't let my friends drive drunk.
I have actually hit one of my good friends in the face for even trying to leave. He shoved me out of the way and then I hit him and told him that he was staying right there.
I also took his keys and hid them.
I was drunk at the time.
But I've also never even been drunk.
However, my fiancee is very strict on the "no alcohol at all if you're driving" thing.
Was at a "sand pit party" and drank away my rejection when I thought I had a shot with a girl and she went elsewhere....was as drunk as I've ever been going home but I had an incident that woke me up
I had a flat tire, and I pulled into a parking lot to change it and while I'm fumbling through this effort a city cop pulls up
and somehow or other I got totally sober in his presence....as if I hadn't had anything at all. Told him i was fine changing the tire and he went on his way, but it scared me so I never took that chance again.
Yes but I've never been anywhere remotely near drunk...
Most ever was two drinks over the course of a dinner.
I answered yes, but like a couple of others have said, I was well within the legal limit...
It was a Saturday evening. I was drinking a glass of wine - hadn't finished it - when other half came in from a run, limping badly. After some nagging, he agreed to be taken to A&E, where it turned out he'd broken his ankle...
I never drink if I know I'll be driving later, and I don't drink much in the evening if I know I'll have to drive the following morning.
Yes, when I was 16. Went to a party, had waaaaay too much to drink. Drove home. Found out top speed on my Chevy Nova that night as well. Not the brightest day of my life.
Speaking of drinking...
And my favorite hat...
During BNCOC/ANCOC (a special training course for Non Commisioned Officers, to fail is a career buster) some ANCOC dummy wouldn't call the barracks we were staying in to get someone to pick him up from the NCO Club, just a few blocks away. He decided to drive.
He was turning into the barracks parking lot when the MP pulled him over.He literally parked in front of the building to do his sobriety test.....
which he failed miserably, and got kicked out with a bad report.
Well, how fast?
120 mph and that was NOT on a highway, but a 40mph residential artery (Shady Grove Rd. if anyone is from the Montgomery County area of Maryland).
I've gotten home from work, had a whiskey and coke or a voodoo before my girlfriend gets home and driven her to dinner a couple times. Well under the limit, and not even buzzin'.
A beer or two at my body weight is like a fucking soda pop, so I don't count that. But back when I was a teenager, I used up my luck (no accidents, no DUIs) in concentrated bursts, getting so drunk I couldn't see strait, doing things like hanging out the driver's side door to puke before turning the key and driving home. Not exactly my proudest moments, and I would never consider doing anything like that now.
I can't count how many times. I had a rep as a pretty good drunk driver. People never worried when they got a ride with me.
The last time was a few years ago when I was following this chick I know to a hotel. Had a pajama shirt on under my jacket. I went home and was drunk as shit from a birthday party. Then the birthday girl calls me up. So I grab my keys and bada bing bada boom.....booty call!!!
Yay for drunken casual sex!
