How do you feel about Dayton being banned?

That sounds like he was not a corrections officer. He was probably staff at a drug treatment facility. There is a big difference in security and responsibility between a corrections officer and some person working at a rehab facility. He most certainly lied when he called them inmates. A drug program is not prison. Even at that end there is a difference between drug offenders in jail and a real prison. How do I know? I was there to experience it.

Once you are processed and put into jail they have an infirmary that you go to. You are not getting out of there. They are prepared for drug OD people in jail. They get a lot of them. It does not work that way. Where the people escape from are the drug rehab places where security is a lot less and you are not dealing with hardened criminals. He is trying to make himself seem big when really he has not worked for jail. You see because we have a shit ton of drug users put into the system the first thing the jail or prison starts to do when you get there is to find a program for you to go into. All of a sudden that jailtime becomes rehab for those people. So it is sort of jail, but really it is rehab and not actually jail. This is just an FYI.

escaping from rehab is not as much of a crime as escaping from jail.

What if the guy had already been in rehab and had then been transferred to a jail?

Are you really trying to support dayton? Even when you get fired from someplace there is a lot of made up bullshit that goes around. When I got fired from TWC they thought my roleplaying notes were a plan to make magic arrows and kill people. Really they just did not know what they had and were hyping things up to make me look bad. Can you imagine dayton doing those sorts of things?I had twelve jobs when I was 19. When you realize they were all retail or low end minimum wage jobs I kept quitting because I had money from other places and did not feel like working it does not sound so impressive.

Well this is utter nonsense. Jails have infirmaries but are not hospitals. Any OD would be handled by a code 3 ambulance ride to the nearest contracted hospital.

A county jail in rural Arkansas isn't even going to have an infirmary.

I don't know about the Fearless Friday stuff, but Dayton has previously given permission in the RR for the disciplinary proceedings to be linked to and otherwise openly discussed them. If your boyfriend wasn't so loose with his private info then he'd be protected wouldn't he?

Yes, that one I remember specifically. He was having an argument with El Chup and gave permission to have the whole episode posted. As usual Dayton was trying to split a hair and deny the broad implications but failed miserably.

Actually, I believe it was someone else who challenged him to give permission post it, not I. That said, I was participating in the thread. IIRC he gave permission and then later complained that his personal info was being dissected.

Jails infirmaries know how to handle your basic OD and have doctors on staff. I have been there dude. I have seen them for myself. You have no clue about the prison system in the US. Dayton was never a CO.

yeah they do. The place you are thinking of that does not have an infirmary is lockup at the police barracks. That is before you are processed into the system. County jails have infirmaries because they actually deal with ODs and detox all the fucking time. The fucking georgia bumblefuck county jails take blood from inmates forcefully. I have been there. I have seen what they do. I am not even claiming to be a CO or even a nurse. I was a prisoner at a proccesing facility. They have trained medical staff in their infirmary because they are a hub. What dayton was at was rehab. I can tell from the description. Yes, technically the people were prisoners who were convicted of drug crimes. However the security is much different. He was not in the bad ass part of prison. He was not a corrections officer.

I grew up in a small county like where Dayton allegedly worked as a jailer and I can tell you with absolute certainty that the jail there had no infirmary in it. Just jail cells. If an inmate needed medical attention, the jailer or dispatcher called an EMS unit.

Many, many rural jails are the same way.

Same goes for "lockups" at police stations. I've never seen one in a rural police department and I'm in those places all the time.

Decent sized towns? Yeah, they have them. A town of 5,000 or less? Not in my experience, which is considerable.

If he is that good why is he on a month long ban? Certainly someone so level headed and good would be able to calm down and be reasonable after a few days. Am I the only one who is "enjoying" the sanity that comes with Dayton being away? It must really suck for his poor pupils who are being subjected to his teaching now, that he can't just sit back, play with us, and give them worksheet packets.
