Do any of you folks use one of these all in one cooking devices? If so I would love to hear opinions about the pros and cons as well as which model you prefer.

A decent cook only needs a good gas hob, a decent oven (electric is my preference for ovens) and a decent grill. Never believed it slow cookers, microwaves or anything else.

They're only useful as a means of convenience. It takes me about three hours to do a roast the way I like it. Or, I can toss everything in the slower cooker before leaving for work, set the timer, and walk in to a complete and done meal when I get home from work. Sure, it's not as good as doing it the proper way, but when I'm working 60+ hours per week at three "jobs" I'll cut what corners I can.

yeah, with what we pay per KW/h here, slow cooker is a lot more economical for me compared to the oven. Great for chili if you're single as you can make a full batch and leave it to simmer for days at a cost of pennies.

I don't own a microwave since hearing they render a lot of food enzymes inert (or something where they don't mix with your digestive system properly causing food to not break down correctly). Again, there's the shitty dent they can make on an electricity bill which detracts from the appeal.
