Change my mind.
Haven't seen it.
When Starz finally gets it I'll let ya know.
I thought it was pretty good.
This is my position. I think I have seen part of it, and it might be cool. It also might be a POS depending on how the rest of it was done.
At this point, the fact they are holding it back to certain services over putting it on netflix is not making me want to see it.
No. It's your opinion and your entitled to it.
Besides, let's not get carried away.
This board already has two or three idiots who spend most of their time in this forum trying to change people's minds about Star Trek.
What's funny is you think someone who says 'change my mind' is looking for someone to change their mind instead of an argument.
It was fine, but The Last Jedi still sucked.
Gets a solid “just ok” from me. Wasn’t spectacular, wasn’t horrible. There sure was a lot of hype around that movie though
I thought it was reasonably good. I'm not aware if it's been acclaimed by critics as more than that.
I enjoyed it. Not quite Agatha Christie, but a serviceable genre mystery. Plus, it featured the delightful and adorable Ana de Armas.
That's a funny way to spell Tenet.
97% critics on Rotten Tomatoes. 92% audience. One of the best reviewed movies that year.
Maybe it's an 'across the pond' thing. It got a lot of hype over here.
So there was all sorts of stupid shit in that movie, not the least of which is taking a great supporting cast and refusing to use them as anything more than stereotypes.
But here's my 'are you shitting me' moments.
Heh. My wife wants me to see this soon, but I've been avoiding it. We watched Inception last night as a reminder that when Nolan was good, he could be very, very good. I think that was her lobbying to see Tenet next.
I mean, I feel the same about a lot of the Marvel movies. There were a few really good Marvel movies, but the rest are overrated, especially the main "Avengers" movies. They're a mess of storytelling and CGI spam, yet they're rated 90%+ on Rotten Tomatoes.
I do think Knives Out was pretty overhyped, most likely due to the ensemble cast (especially before it came out). But it was still very entertaining.
Speaking of overrated shite...
