BECAUSE IT SHOWS A PATTERN OF LYING.

    It completely undermines her story.

If you're lying about multiple things you're probably lying about everything.

The notes from the therapist say she was attacked in her late teens and by four boys. She claims that the therapist wrote things down wrong. Yet she refuses to give the Senate the complete notes or access to the therapist to see what the therapist says about her claims the therapist got it wrong. Twice.

All the people she named in her story all say it never happened. Her best friend says she doesn't know Kavanaugh.

If you bought his book you'd know it. A book he wrote long before the hearings. Given her other lies and that she had access to Democrat activist lawyers who probably scoured everything up they could on Judge she's probably lying about that too.

You've got no first hand reports. None. It's all second hand.

Well you just proved you're a fucking idiot.

    Gut feelings.... :jayzus:

Something only fucking idiots rely on.

What lie? "I have a fear of flying, but I got on the plane anyway," isn't a lie. "I have a fear of being trapped in a room, but I agreed to let out the spare room because it was the best thing for my family," isn't a lie. "'I'm terrified' to testify before the Senate judiciary committee but here I am," isn't a lie.

ORLY? :chris: You mean like boofing, Renate, Devil's Triangle, and being a virgin in high school?

A book which didn't mention the name or location of the store at which he worked. Yet Ford claimed it was the Potomac Safeway. Has this been verified? :mystery:

"What happens at Georgetown Prep, stays at Georgetown Prep." "What happens on the bus, stays on the bus." The yearbook: "Who won that game anyway?" "100 kegs or bust." "Beach Week Ralph Club" -- another lie under oath. The letter to organize Beach Week '83. All in his own words.

Your gut feeling is that frat boys don't drink and get handsy with the ladies? Have you met many frat boys? For social frats that is the reason you join. Beer and easy drunk chicks are the selling points. You have to go through some shit to get into that ring to begin with. You don't just show up with a shit eating grin and they give you bitches and booze. You have to go through abuse and torture called hazing.

These are the frats. Date rape and molestation happens to girls all the time on many campuses. This is not an uncommon or rare story at all. Most women blame themselves and deal with it because of the threats and hell people like you put them through for coming forward when a guy, who is normally their friend and trusted, molests or rapes them. It goes right along the psychology that accepts abuse a lot more. You have no fucking clue, or maybe you do and you are threatened because you have done it before.

If I remember right you are a CO and a wannabe cop. You got power issues and you like to bully people. I would bet great money someone with your psychology has held down a woman before and probably has come close to hitting if you have not. This hits close to home and you take it personally because those women are not lying. You have had them do it to you haven't you?

I have dealt with too many tears from women from some unexpected places to fall for kavenaugh's lies.

You take these things very personally. I see nothing that proves she is lying at all. The only thing I see is a bunch of right wing bullies trying to pretend one of their own is innocent of behavior they all do.

oh you can have an opinion based on any source that influences you - no problem there. And you might be level-headed enough to realize opinions are just that, opinions. But many people these days on both sides are not so level-headed, and this does nothing to quench mob mentality, and with modern technology it's very easy indeed to form a mob.

You've changed your tune given it was only a couple of weeks ago you were so convinced it didn't happen and that Ford was guilty of making false allegations that you said it would be hilarious if she got the shit sued out of her.

"If Kavanaugh's lied about anything--even the name of a drinking game--he is a liar who cannot be trusted and should not be allowed on the Supreme Court."

"Here are some things Ford has obviously lied about..."

Absolutely everything about this post is false in the dumbest possible ways.

Ford did not tell any obvious lies.

Kavanaugh did not lie about insignificant details; he perjured himself with regards to facts related to uncovering the truth about accusations of rape and sexual harassment against him.

Ford is not a candidate for the Supreme Court.

Based on statements she's made and facts that have been revealed, oh, yes, she has.

Is she afraid of flying? Did she have a second door put in her house because of residual trauma about her decades-earlier supposed encounter with Kavanaugh?
Which lies did he tell? His contemporaries have confirmed the names of drinking games and such. And Ford did not accuse Kavanaugh of rape.
No, she's trying to stop a candidate for the Supreme Court with nothing but her word.

Nothing has been brought forward to doubt either of those statements.
He lied about the evidence against him, about supposed evidence of a conspiracy against him, about his driniking habits and about his social habits at the time at which he allegedly committed his crimes while drunk and at the parties in question.

Yes, that is a way to describe speaking out as a witness about a serious crime.

Disagree (sort of) with Zombie about gut feelings. Gut feelings are a very useful evolutionary trait under certain conditions. They are needed for very basic decisions that have to be dealt with "on the fly" when it's better to be safe than sorry. For example "I had a gut feeling there could be a bear hiding near that freshly killed salmon so I got the hell out of dodge" would be something you might not want to ignore. But for an involved complex modern world scenario gut feelings are like opinions - worth further research to see if how they mesh with reality.
