The only good part of the Titanic took place when it hit the iceberg and sank. The first half of the movie was a chick flick.

If people could sit through Lord of the Rings, a 3 hour Avengers movie is going to be nooooo problem.

I know people who sat through a marathon of all the LOTR movies in the theater.

Yeah, if I wanted to see a chick flick, I'll watch The Notebook.

My mind locked on to that other bit.
This isn't gonna be "Year Of Hell".
There'll be repercussions for amending the timeline.

Do 8 year old boys like their superheroes being killed off?

Then this will be a Year of Hell thing.

Yes, although those repercussions will fall only on those who do the amending (except, of course, for Thanos, whose plans will be undone); everyone else will be unaware because the "snap" reality will have never happened.

    I'm making this assumption:
NONE OF THE ESTABLISHED FILMS (APART FROM INFINITY WAR) WILL BE ERASED FROM CONTINUITY, NOR WILL THEY BE RET-CONNED SUCH THAT ANY OF THE CHARACTERS IN THEM KNOW WHAT THE FUTURE WILL BE.

Since time-travelling is going to put the older and younger versions of the Avengers together in the same timeframe, and the younger ones can't change/die (otherwise my assumption is invalid), the older ones can't stay. They've got to have some means of returning to the (altered) future without the result being two Caps, two Iron Men, etc. I think it will be kinda like Wolverine in DoFP. The time travelers will return to a pre-snap moment and inhabit the bodies of their altered timeline selves. Then we'll get a battle between the Avengers and Thanos, a battle which will prevent the snap from happening.

    Sorta.

"Year of Hell" ended with Voyager's timeline being completely restored to the status quo ante (what the situation was before), and no one was aware of the alternate timeline. It was like nothing ever happened because, from their point of view, nothing did.

Endgame is not going to be like that. The status quo ante won't be restored; the heroes will just get a second shot at defeating Thanos. At least some of the Avengers who reach the end of Endgame will remember the alternate timeline.

Hopefully that suit on Hulk means that Stark finally made Hulk a suit that can expand and shrink without breaking. No more magical Hulk shorts.

Hulk looks almost exactly like Ruffalo/Banner.
I think Banner is in control somehow.

And then there's the "once and for all" bit too. They are going to frame this as a conclusive victory, allowing them to have several hero biographies end here satisfactorily.

Agreed - it looks like his "Professor Hulk" appearance in the comics, when Banner thought he'd suppressed the Hulk's rage with Doc Samson's help, but it was really just another split personality.

Looks interesting. Might be the first X-Men film I see in a theater.

I do never understand why the guards in all these films think they can shoot at these type of people and hit them. They've got those neck things to suppress the powers you'd think someone would design a area-denial device that could do the same thing. Or a rope gun. Hit the target and it automatically snares them and depowers them.

But no...... let's throw bullets at them knowing full well that never works right......

And I'm not talking about some mutant with a low level power that's laughable. I'm talking the top-of-the-line ones like the X-Men. The ones with powers that can fuck up states if not whole countries.
