Secure our boarders!!!
Should be hentai investigation.
In case anybody was wondering, Burke has been charged with extortion for allegedly shaking down a restaurant company for a campaign contribution to a Chicago mayoral candidate. Nothing to do with Mueller or Trump.
Mueller's Grand Jury was just granted a 6-month extension.
Suggestion to mods:
rename the thread title TDS Omnibus Thread until/unless the Mueller investigation actually reveals it found something concrete on point.
[Or is that too pessimistic a posture for the trauma victims to handle? After all, we don't want suicide rates to increase any further in US.]
Suggestion to Tuttle:
rename yourself Pointless Twat until/unless you actually post something worth fucking reading
32 people have been charged, and 8 have been convicted. What was the total for all the investigations of Benghazi? Whitewater? How much money did those investigations net the US government? Did they turn a profit like Mueller's? Yes? No?
DAMN DIRTY HENTAI APE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to count this as having reached the bargaining phase.
Oh, I'm willing to bet he'll drown in that river, even if it means he's got to strap a couple of Cleopatra's obilisks to his limbs.
Heh, you couldn't be more wrong, I wouldn't have the slightest problem to see Trump in the rear view mirror. He's already basically done much much more than I would ever have predicted, and most of the stuff he started that's not finished is, imo, on a trajectory that I think is in the right direction, and won't be derailed even if Trump is shitcanned during first quarter and we get a Democrat after Pence in 2020.
-good attorneys as new justices of S.C.
-no more nuke war talk out of NK, border barriers coming down & railroads connecting No and So. NK remains untrustworthy but find that new path toward denuke future kind of remarkable
-garner worldwide agreement that the three decades old China experiment has basically failed so better to fix it sooner, not wait
-remove US from wars that don't have defined and finite objectives
-spend a bit more on defense, fix dept and health of Vets Affairs a bit
-also coax or bludgeon beneficiaries of US defense umbrella (at least NATO if not Canadia) to put more into national defense
-raise awareness that US has many short-end-of-stick trade deals
-raise awareness that US is subsidizing foreign countries' lower drug costs with US prices that fund R&D from which everyone benefits
-US economy on decent track, tax reform won't disappear any time soon; lots and lots of jobs which is paramount responsibility of President
-deregulation with abolished regs for every new regulation added; massive repeal of costly regs - though this item is as easy to reverse as it was to implement in first place - (by exec. orders in opposite direction). Still, not bad numbers - even Fed Register page count dropped from 2016 to 2017 [from 97,110 down to 61,949]
-shattered some myths and illusions: GDP growth well beyond the supposed 2% "new normal"; US will never again grow in manufacturing jobs; US energy independence years ahead of schedule;
-a start on prison reform and raise some awareness; some attention to inner cities re: such critical fundamentals like school choice
-develop a more secure (less porous) border, legislature must fix broken immigration, attend to decades old failure of policy
And definitely I'm forgetting a lot, that list's just off the top of my head. Two worst neglected items: "fix healthcare", national debt crisis, though he never claimed he would fix the latter.
Related: Russian lawyer involved in the Trump Tower meeting indicted in separate case for obstruction of justice...
SCOTUS declines to intervene in the subpoena case against the unknown foriegn state-owned company.
Manaforts lawyers fucked up their retractions and revealed a bunch of information.
Fucked up, or did so in order to give a clandestine heads-up to anyone else who might be on Mueller's radar?
"Telling the FSB where the polls were close? No, that's definitely not collusion; we just thought it was funny and they'd get a good laugh out of it."
Edit: Kilimnik is affiliated with GRU, not FSB. My bad.
At this point you cannot credibly claim their wasn't co-ordination between the Trump campaign and Russian operatives. The only thin reed the Redhats have left to cling to is to deny Trump knew (which is ridiculously unlikely but still)
Of course they did.
Has everyone forgotten that the entire top of the FBI, before being fired or resigning, was Anti-Trump?
James Comey, director
Andrew McCabe, deputy director
Peter Strzok, counterintelligence expert
Lisa Page, attorney
James Rybicki, chief of staff
James Baker, general counsel
Mike Kortan, assistant director for public affairs
Josh Campbell, special assistant to James Comey
James Turgal, executive assistant director
Greg Bower, assistant director for office of congressional affairs
Michael Steinbach, executive assistant director
John Giacalone, executive assistant director
No one on that list is a Trump supporter. Remember how the FBI and DOJ were acting after Trump won the election?
It's very easy to see them doing something like this.
And what was the result? Nothing. Because there is nothing there. If there was don't you think they would have brought it public?
How many times have you guys on the left or you guys who are Anti-Trump posted something in this thread and than it turns into a nothing-burger?
You mean the top FBI people didn't support a suspected criminal/Russian asset? There's a fucking shock.
...ensured Trump's election by dumping false accusations on Hillary just before election day? No.
That’s just because Comey got his shit wrong. Dummy thought he was helping her.
Edit: and it wasn’t false accusations. He was trying to protect her.
Doesn’t change the fact that the entire top of the FBI under Comey was Anti-Trump.
You’re a damn fool if you think one mistake on Comey’s part means all those people at the top of the FBI were on team Trump.
The sheer volume of contacts with Russia, and all those unrelated indictments with "Russia," shows clear coordination of Trump with Russia.
But don't be ridiculous and claim volume of FBI misconduct means anything.
Without nitpicking, and taking your claim for the sake of argument...
Anti-Trump based on their knowledge of how compromised and dangerous he was is not a failing.
What were they supposed to do, say "this guy could burn the whole thing down but I must remain neutral about whether he gets the chance"?
The next year it's going to be almost as fascinating to watch the denialists as to watch the full on culters.
Separate names with a comma.
