when I was at Fort Rucker I knew a warrant officer who flew Cheryl Crow in a helicopter in Bosnia! The guy was kind of a bonehead - one time he left his government computer unsecured for about two minutes while left his government van when he did curb-side check in or something at the Atlanta Airport. BYE-BYE COMPUTER! He eventually lost his pilot job when he was permanently grounded for getting a laser-beam direct hit to his eye (not his fault, just a training accident). He got out of the army shortly after that.

Great seeing The Terminator on the big screen in a classic 1930s movie theater with a big audience that loves the film.

And it was very cool to see Michael Biehn. He got a warm reception from the crowd and told several stories about the making of the film.

My favorite quote of his from tonight (may be slightly paraphrased): "Anyone who read the [Terminator] script and said they knew it was going to be something really big? They're full of shit."

Another funny thing: Biehn said he's often asked how it is working with Arnold Schwarzenegger. His (half-serious) reply? He doesn't know, since they were almost never on the set together. There's only a fraction of a second in the film when they're in the same frame.

One of the guys in the "give me your clothes" scene was interviewed on, I think Letterman, and he said that if the stories about the side-effects of using steroids were true, then Arnold certainly must have used them.

A guy in the audience asks this long, rambling intellectually pretensious question about religious themes in the film Seven and if they informed Freeman's participation in this National Geographic documentary about God.

    Freeman: "No."

    *audience laughs*
