That photo of fire really...looks like fire. Wow!
My Wembley home for the past season as a season ticket holder. Great seat and I'll miss it but can't wait to return to White Hart Lane.
The Angus Barn restaurant in Raleigh. Nirvana.
Here's a wider shot of the whole lounge.
More from vacation. We visited my wife's sister in Raleigh. We're considering getting a Corgi for our next dog in a few years, and my wife was excited to find out her sister was friends with a Corgi breeder. So we stopped by and got mauled by hyper mini beasts:
Views from the planes - on the way down, looking back, a striking view of the lower bay with Staten island in the forground, Brooklyn at the top, and Sandy Hook, NJ on the right, with the Atlantic looming beyond. 11 minutes later we passed by Cape May at the bottom end on NJ.
Then on the way home, I spotted part of my commute route. That's scenic Paterson, NJ in the foreground, inside the loop of the Pasaiic River. Rt 20 follows this side of the river. I cross over the bridge right of center to Fair Lawn, NJ, then zigzag thru town to Rt 208, the hiway going across the top of the pic.
My wife (right) and her sister while we visited a local arboretum. Apparently we got there too early, since the trees were still in their jammies.
Me honey. Lunch at Bojangles in Raleigh - great bacon/egg biscuits.
I've been there! The bar upstairs makes a mean martini.
Money cake for my friend's graduation.
(that's Zane pretending to be her tail)
Insane thunder storms heading our way. I tried to get gome before they hit. My entire ride home from work was FINE - clear and sunny. The last couple of miles started getting dark. Then the insanely high winds kicked in. Here's the last 3/4 of a mile. Listen to the shit hitting my car!
BUT - we don't have lava, so there's that.
View from my front porch...
and the ferocious beast that leaves me half dead mice as a reminder that real carnivores torture our prey...
“I prefer looking at the outside from inside the house.”
Me and the Dog-daughter about to sing the Farty Bum bum song (It's sorta like Chitty Bang Bang).
Hangin' with Mom in S.C.
Mom's neeiighbor telling me to piss off:
Mom needed something to chase the squirrels out of the bird feeder, so we helped her pick something out at Wally World. I hope she doesn't shoot her eye out.
me, drinking domestic beer O_o
That's the Dog-otter's daddy
Climbing into the fringes of Tropical Storm Alberto from GSP airport on Tuesday.
Tulip tree is bloomin'.
my wildflower garden! Not great pictures but you get the idea. In reality it's coming up very well - vivid yellow, orange, purple, blue, white and red flowers and the bees are loving them.
My camera started acting up before I could take pictures of my row of sunflowers. But tomorrow after work I'll use my older camera (still works) and put those up and better wildflower pics.
Also here is our new (to us) dog we bought from the pound two or three months ago. This is at a motel in Valdosta GA. He was great during the trip!
not a photo of my "front yard", but it's hilarious to see an illustration that I'm in. (The one leaning against the wall).
love how the artist captured people's postures well enough to make us recognizable.
