He may have been contemplating my death.
All the models I built this year. Not as many as I'd hoped in my first year of retirement. Turns out I don't wanna go in the basement during the day when it's nice out More pics and details on my website.
nice! I have built (though not nearly as well) some of these many years ago:
the P-51 mustang
maybe that German one in the lower right corner
I had built the Star Trek shuttlecraft and the Klingon D-7 as a kid. I think I remember building an Aardvark. All long since lost to the dustbin of history and none of them painted or decal-ed. Forbin is a master at this stuff and all I did back in the day was glue 'em together. Did go thru a phase where I painted all my airplanes gloss black, tho.
That German things is the first time it's been kitted, so probably not
The shuttle and Klingon are brand new, larger scale models that just came out this year.
oh I see - I think I built a German Me-252 then. It was decades ago.
You need to do Space Ghost's Phantom Cruiser.
I have that kit, but it's $75 worth of crap.
the dog looks a little like one my family had many years ago. What breed is it?
Reminds me a little of this (which I think is just a piloted V1):
Ja, it uses the same engine, but two of them.
Hanna Reisch was a confirmed Nazi, but damn, can't help but admire her bravery.
Chihuahua/pug/springer spaniel mutt, according to a DNA test.
that makes sense! Our dog was a springer spaniel mix too.
