Got a Plex media server up and running to keep my friends entertained during these troubling times.

The phone camera doesn’t do it justice and damn clouds were in the way anyway, but the chunk of rock behind us is actually really big. One of the biggest in North America (Mt. Tahoma).

awesome pics! I love hiking in that kind of terrain. Side note I hope you wore sunscreen! :nono: UV rays are stronger at high elevations and can really burn you especially for you freckled skin folk.

Well, my new neighbor has his friends over swearing and smoking cigars right under my office window, :yuck: but at least the sunset was nice.

See that broken fitting there? That's the top of the water softener for the house in Arizona. That's why I had to run out there this past July. Lots of leaking water thanks to that. :garamet:

No The Lake District National Park.
I'm lucky enough to be able to see it from my house... in the distance.
This walk was about 1 1/2 hrs drive from me

a red fox? Haven't seen one of those around here in a long time. Coyotes have driven them out because they pretty much eat the same prey animals. Only grey fox remain for the most part. Grey foxes sleep high up in trees - how cool is that?

I see a lot of those tail salutes when I hunt - it's the deer's version of flipping you the bird!

We've got a pair of fawns who are still loosely hanging around with their mother. One still has its spots and the other only has them on the rear legs.

Last week I saw two fawns make a dash for their mom, who was lying down and relaxing. They dove into her belly to try to nurse. Mom got up, stepped over them, and got the hell away from them. it's past weaning time, kids.

What's your favorite lake / fell / hike in the Lake District?

So far of all the places I've been on Earth, I've loved the Lake District the best, and haven't seen nearly enough of it. The only real hike we did was on Catbells (my wife had a cold for most of our trip last spring).

I see fawns do some adorable things when I'm hunting. No, I wouldn't shoot them, but when they come through your spot with the adult does (occasionally by themselves) you get some entertainment for a few minutes until they move off to eat in other areas.

    Lake? Probly Ullswater.
Fell? Probly Great Gable or Blencathra. Or maybe Helvellyn when it unexpectedly snows :)
