Another useless reboot. The movie looks good visually, but will likely suck. Plus it will get get swallowed up by Star Wars. Trailer

I refuse to believe with all the great many wanna be writers trying to make it in Hollywood every year that there isn't at least ten that can come up with something more original than all these reboots we've been subjected to.
Like I've said, Hollywood is fundamentally conservative economically speaking. Giant corporations, powerful unions, a handful of "stars" who are basically corporations themselves. Big organizations detest risks. So if you have an idea and studio execs can say "Oh yeah, that one made 100 million dollars back 20 years ago. Let's try that again".
