I'm having an affair with AOC.
@Ten Lubak is jealous and bitter.
Tossing off to photos from her Instagram account does not count as an "affair".
I confessed to my wife for nothing?
We also go for long romantic walks in the countryside picking flowers and doing balance acts on weird alien bug cow things, does that count?
Good for you. Don't worry, I will post enough to keep him busy repping me for a while so you kids have fun.
Is Spot Q? Pills with "261" on them are a drug that starts with that letter... https://www.drugs.com/imprints/261-20671.html
Buddy - she loves to portray herself as the poor former bartender, woman of the downtrodden and poor and is at a $200,000 per table fundraiser for a rich persons museum
I expect simple Americans to be binary and defend their side no matter what, but not you
Her ticket was paid for by a donor, who likely knew what stance she was gonna take. She doesn't even make £200k a year (salary is £174k). So some rich person has a conscience and decided to back a "tax the rich" message. I'm not gonna blame her for using the opportunity.
She's also on record as saying Congress is corrupt and in the pocket of lobbyists, but they don't give a shit about that message when it comes from the outside. Now the calls are coming from inside the house, folk like Manchin are getting rattled and you can see their sweat in how they attack her.
And make no mistake, this "wah, she went to a pricey gala!!" thing is only getting so much play BECAUSE they're worried.
Isn't this the same logic that justifies anger at welfare recipients eating anything nicer than gruel, and wearing anything other than oily rags?
She was offered a chance to network with a shitload of influential people she might not otherwise have access to, at least some of whom are actually her constituents. Why should she reject that opportunity? Because she used to be poor?
OMFG you go BOOOOYYYEEEEE! Dig that stupid hole deeper than I thought you could. This is why you are my favorite village idiot that is still around. You are nowhere near the entertainment that dayton was, but you have his stupid down pat.
Unfamiliar with this
It's off brand for her and the event is antithesis of what she says she stands for. See I'd be more expecting her to be outside the event scolding rich people for giving tons of money to a rich institution that doesn't need the money instead of the poor people in the shitty part of town
^ Binary Americans truly are the Pakleds of our society
And the memes have began....
Not to mention the fact that her and the other celebs in that event were not wearing masks, which is a HUGE contradiction to her mask mandate stance. Typical politician, "do as I say, not as I do."
Lots more in the thread.
So @T.R is misrepresenting things about AOC? It must be a day ending in Y.
You have one image of a group at the actual event wearing masks. The other is an article showing pictures from last years event. Your twitter guy failed to open what he was propping up. My point still stands, she was standing around others without a mask on. It doesn't matter if it's on the red carpet or off of it. She's a hypocrite. Period.
This is a vogue article about this year's event. Very few in the gallery are wearing masks. One of them not wearing a mask is Mayor. DeBlasio, another mask hypocrite.
And let me be clear, I wouldn't give a damn if they wore a mask or not if they weren't so loud about everyone else wearing one. That's the part that bothers people. If you're going to preach mask mandates, then practice what you preach. Otherwise, shut up.
I can see that you didn’t follow the thread. Here’s another pic from the event.
And you said that the event was “maskless.” The photos show that there were celebrities wearing masks. That’s in addition to the staff who were wearing masks.
Also, DeBlasio is the mayor, not the governor.
I did not say the event was maskless. Don't know how you took that from "Very few in the gallery are wearing masks" I'm referring to the celebs, not the staff. I went through the vogue article . Some were wearing masks, many were not. But that wasn't the point. The point is that you have a member of congress preaching mask mandates, yet is seen at a crowded event without one. That's inexcusable no matter how much you try and skirt the issue.
This took me like three seconds to find, dumbass.
AOC hit with ethics complaint over Met Gala appearance as she fires back at critics ‘policing her body’
"non-partisan conservative research organisation?!?!?
American conservatives permanently lost the right to talk about "ethics" after four years of Trump.
Or indeed to talk about anything except how pre-cunt Steven Seagal is punching the shit out of them when they lose a game of hand slap.
'Member when Seagal used to punch/kill Republicans instead of cruising around with the cops looking for black folk to arrest or sucking Putin's cock?
Man, it's like Captain Planet suddenly deciding that coal is fucking awesome.
Less arguing, more meming.
Okay, let's get into some weeds. You're at an event where you have a reasonable expectation that the majority of people there have been vaccinated. Do you wear a mask or not? Certainly, neither vaccine nor a mask is 100% protection, but given the fact that an overwhelming majority of people who get sick and die from COVID are unvaccinated, how many shits should one give?
Honestly, at this point, if you're someone who can get the vaccine (as opposed to those who have a legitimate medical reason for why you can't do so). and you haven't done it, I don't have a lot of sympathy for you. AOC was at an event where a large percentage of the folks there can be expected to have already have been vaccinated. So why wear the mask?
Separate names with a comma.
