So for some reason Anime Weekend Atlanta pushed their weekend back a month and the convention starts on thursday Oct 31. So that is an awesome weekend of costumes and party in Atlanta this year. The hotel is booked, and I have my first costume all prepped. Late night raves, bronies, anime fans, a fan video art track that is unrivaled in any con I have seen, and a nice section of Atlanta where there are tons of things to do.

AWA has always been my favorite convention, and now it is on halloween, and fucking atlanta is awesome. It will be just the right temperature to wear some softer costumes too. I could make a trip to some gay clubs also. My toe had better heal by then or it's going to get fucked up again.

you are right about being the best Halloween ever. Both my grand daughters are old enough now to dress up in super-cute costumes and I can't wait to see the pics & videos! My daughter and son-in-law will probably dress up too, so the whole family might be dressed up in the same theme.

I am pretty damned sure the world is going to end. I have been left in charge of making arrangements for the hotel, and somehow I have not only done that really early, but my transportation is pretty secure, and I have already finished off my adorable attire for this year so I won't need to bring all my costume supplies so I can decide what I am doing and purchase things the first day of the con to complete my outfits. This means less luggage too.

I am pretty sure this is a sign of the impending apocalypse and you should be very afraid given you are near Atlanta and ground zero for the disaster. The last time I was this prepared for a convention and had everything set up and relying on me like this god threw an ice and snowstorm across Alabama and the carolinas that stopped the trains from running so I could not make it. It takes a lot to stop amtrak in the south, and it happened. This time I am coming from the south and I am driving. Do you know what it takes to stop me from driving? I can tell you it is not a blizzard, tornado, or hurricane. Maybe massive flooding or an earthquake that opens up a huge fissure that separates florida from GA? Perhaps a meteor from space wipes out atlanta.

God is going to have to try on this one. That actually makes me a bit worried.
