I'm too young to be among her original fans, but I remember seeing her 1960s movies on television a few times when I was a kid home sick from school. I think I saw "Send Me No Flowers" a couple of times, 'cause I still have the theme song in my head. I don't recall much about them--haven't seen them since--but I remember that as a kid I enjoyed them.

I watched her classic Hitchcock film "The Man Who Knew Too Much" a couple of years back--she very memorably sings "Que Sera, Sera" in it--and thought it was pretty good.

My mom was a big fan of hers and supported her animal welfare work.

She was really something. Entertainers nowadays could have learned a thing or two from her.
