I am beginning to realize it is probably good this is happening under trump because it gets ignored under dems. Sure, less of it happened, and it was focused on brown people, but we were doing these things when Joe was VP and senator. Joe actually helped to make more of it possible with the drug war.

One possibility is that it wasn’t really anything Inslee or Durkan did but that Portland has become a shit-show. It isn’t working like he wanted (see look I cowed the Dem leaders and defeated Antifa!) and is further dragging him politically.

Pride won’t let Trump pull out of Portland without being able to claim some kind of victory but self preservation is keeping him from expanding his fuckup.

When the US Army setup the incinerator at the Anniston Army Depot to start burning the stored stockpiles of Chemical Weapons, FEMA went spend crazy in the State in case it all went sideways. Every Officer in the whole north half of the State got a full MOPP suit and training on how to use it.
