From 1967, Carol Burnett's Mrs. Invisible Man sketch. I had never seen this one.
That's pretty wild, considering that Nimoy's show ran on a competing network. I didn't think there was that kind of cross-pollination in those days.
But Trek was going to be moving to CBS for its final season. Perhaps the date is wrong and it was done to let folks know that the show was moving to CBS.
IMDb has it from 12 December 1967. Kind of weird to do it in the middle of a season if that was the case.
When did CBS buy Desilu Productions?
Paramount bought Desilu, CBS bought Paramount.
Close. Gulf and Western bought Desilu and renamed it Paramount Television.
The sale did take place in 1967 and Desilu ceased operations at the end of December.
