Halloween is early this year. My generation has finally taken over. Fuck army Christmas!

What’s this thread about, you ask? I’ve noticed horror movies have started earlier, decorations have started earlier, Party City has started earlier, Grocery stores have started earlier, Rite Aide started earlier, Amazon started earlier. Etc, etc.. Halloween is catching on among adults, especially Gen X. Bout time. Halloween is the new Christmas! May it begin sooner and sooner! I had my costume picked out in June bitches

Having sets of lights on sale doesn't bother me, but CostCo is whole-hog with trees and wreaths and plastic Santas and stuff. :jayzus:

Enough with saying Happy Halloween, the War on All Saint's Day has gone to far.

BAM! There you go motherfuckers who don't get what I mean when I agree with Dayton about Americans not having any moderation. :brood: Capitalism is a great tool but we will use and abuse that tool like a red headed stepchild until the fucker catches on fire or implodes. Seriously, what the fuck America? :brood:

Not that I’ve ever seen, it’s always mid-late September and some places skip straight to Christmas. Maybe they have some Halloween stuff, maybe some thanksgiving stuff. It’s not just that though, my subscriptions are pushing horror movies sooner than usual.

very true! We would all be stripping bark off trees for breakfast so all holidays would be a distant memory. Speaking of breakfast a Cuban has two things on his mind when he eats breakfast....those two things are lunch and supper.

Costco near me has Halloween and Christmas stuff out.

Reality is that while people run their mouths about the stuff being out for sale the retailers know their business. That stuff wouldn't be out on the shelves this early if it wasn't selling.

maybe it's selling because people are afraid they might run out of what they want if they wait too much longer.
