Dropped by SGDQ Sunday afternoon! Sat in on a couple of runs, visited the arcade and button-mashed against KJ in whichever game has Ken in it, and played a couple of pinball games. One was very charmingly old-school and didn't bother putting the ball where my flippers could do anything. A lot of hall space dedicated to Doctors Without Borders. And more arcade games, and a guy twiddling on the musical kind of keyboard. We wound up spending the most time in the board games room. Someone glitched the room so the game being run was visible on one of the walls. King Boo was in there but he was focused on someone else's game and I didn't ask for an autograph. Really enjoyed Fox in the Forest, Mythe was cute but not much to it for 2 players, Epic PVP Fantasy was enjoyable once we got into the flow. A lot of gals around, even though they don't show up onstage. There was a girls-only marathon within the past couple of months to I guess get more female speedrunners comfortable in this setting. They definitely exist! KJ wants to get up super-early for the Skyrim run. We were offered a free Red Bull each at check-in. Best Buy is also advertising, I guess this thing is getting more mainstream now.
