Are you sure it was a slip? Maybe he meant it.
The whole thread is worth checking out.
America has always had a bit of an issue when it comes to some aspects of totalitarianism and its efficiency - Trump himself admires strongmen for that reason and Bush Jr said it would be easier if he were a dictator...
I'm minded of an anecdote from a colleague who attended the Plant and Animal Genome conference in San Diego back around 2000. The Americans put up slides showing their progress on DNA sequencing individual chromosomes of rice. The Chinese put up slides showing they'd sequenced the whole thing AND several wild relatives. Each slide was the equivalent of a whole US group's output... He said you could hear the jaws hitting the ground. The Chinese have over a billion people to feed, they are NOT fucking around when it comes to crop science - and they have the setup required to repurpose the scientific community as needed.
From Drumph's El Paso rally tonight:
What a fucking moron.
Everything you ever wanted to know about Donnie Smallhands, courtesy of an 87-year-old cultural icon who's still got the moves (her take on Donnie starts at around 6:15):
Y'know, we've had presidents who were liars before. But even Nixon wasn't pathological to the point of literally being incapable of not lying, even when there's no reason to.
Garamet should get a warning for posting her own personal information (upper left pic is her neighborhood) on word forge!
I know you're trying to be funny (emphasis on the word trying), but in my 19-unit building alone there are Latinos, Asians from various countries, Persians, and even the occasional Caucasian.
You want the demographics of the whole neighborhood? I'll be happy to provide them.
Didn't McCain go to that a couple of years ago and apologize for Trump getting elected?
His pick for UN ambassador is pulling out. CNN: Heather Nauert withdraws from consideration as UN ambassador.
A somewhat warmer reception, except from the usual suspects... and Ivanka, who is there - WHY? She's not an elected official or anything to do with defence/security. But she DOES draw a WH salary on the taxpayer dime...
"I bring greetings from the 45th president of the United States of America, President Donald Trump."
sorry but I can only envision this as a stand-alone statement in a situation like this:
The little orange handprints all over her face should tell you why she is there and well behaved.
The Washington Post sued by family of Covington Catholic teenager
The family of the Kentucky teen who was involved in an encounter with a Native American advocate at the Lincoln Memorial last month filed a defamation lawsuit against The Washington Post on Tuesday, seeking $250 million in damages for its coverage of the incident.
I read somewhere that some 50 organizations and individuals were notified that they'd be getting sued.
I'm just shocked at the amount.
They must be wanting the Washington Post to offer to settle.
They probably should've picked a better first target. The Post isn't known for backing down.
I'm not a lawyer, but I suspect the kid's attorney will have a tough time proving malice.
Sounds like pure delusion, imo. At best you might find a few anecdotes, that might be construed to support that pov, but, wow, you been brainwashed bub. And don't try to offer up a case like Korematsu, because Pearl Harbor and war obviously, not to justify it but it would constitute a hyperbolic example.
Perhaps this case will support a harsher approach than the ones we typically see in defamation/harassment cases.
"Neo-Nazis have no First Amendment right to harassment, judge rules in Daily Stormer case" [Gersh v Anglin]
The Post may or may not have acted in a way that could fall within other actionable behavior like the above harassment theory - I only mean to suggest there might be more than one way to skin a cat. Particularly if the anti-Sandmann & Covington coverage by the Post wasn't quickly retracted.
Did you read any of the complaint? What a joke. He should sue the lawyer he hired to write that drivel.
EDIT: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rnio82555...ann vs. Washington Post - Complaint.pdf?dl=0
He apparently plans to sue Jim Carrey and the Catholic Church.
It's how much Bezos paid for the Post.
I am pretty sure this was the whole point of why the parents hired a PR firm and lawyers and sent their kid on the trip with the MAGA hat and told him to get in someone's face and record it. It is a bigger set up than Smollett.
I doubt he will win, but if he did it would set precedent for faux news and Alex Jones to be destroyed by the left.
However, this is most obviously a setup at this point. They had the PR rep and a connection to a presidential lawyer from the school all ready. It explains the terrible poker face the kid had. We know why the smile was there now and it was because the plan had come together and he knew he was being recorded for all of this. They will probably take in money off a GoFundMe so even if they fail in court they will collect donatations from the MAGAts. This will also set the kid up for thinktanks or a legal job for the republican party. Better than an internship considering he is already a face.
That is always what this was about. My thought is the Indian and the black isrealites are in on it too.
