Ah, but see, that's a core tenet of collectivist thought: nothing is yours, it's all ours and will be (mis)managed accordingly.

Not at all. Public education is essential, regardless that we mostly do it wrong. The thrust of the argument is that people shouldn't be having children that they can't support. If you want a kid, make sure you can provide for that kid. Don't ask me to pay for your offspring.

If you're not a fan of adventuring, you might need a bottle.

Edited To Add: I like riding in that jeep.

    True, true.

Neither did you cause our billionaire class to be born (or move here) and yet you still rush to their defense.

Children born to poor parents should accept their suffering and death because their parents made poor decisions.

Billionaires having their 27th billion taxed SHOULDN’T just accept that indignity because….?

For once in your life try not and think only about yourself or your betters. Try and consider the children. They have done nothing wrong yet like your Trump you feel it is okay for them to be punished in order to punish their parents. But take your ideology of no one should have to suffer for another’s decision. Why are the children of poor people excepted for you? Why is it okay that they suffer? Why do you want to set up a system where they are punished harder than currently? How does your ideology deal with that?

Do you like getting ridden in that jeep?

Why do I ask such questions when I know the answer is something I do not want to think about?

So let me get this straight. @Jenee will pretty much accept anything that comes along, including blatant Daytonistic right wing racist, transphobic, homophobic...........anything at all as long as you fuck her in the back of an old Jeep?

I am ok with that, but I wish someone would have warned me.

Yes you do, we all do.

We are all individuals, but together we form societies which have dynamics and pressures and outcomes that emerge beyond the individual level.

Bullshit. Prove it. And no "Have not overtly condemned in recent memory" does NOT count as "rushing to their defense."

It is not my place to decide what they should do. I didn't put them in that position, am neither responsible for extricating it from it nor due any blame for the outcomes they experience.

Again, you'll need to show where I said they shouldn't. Not saying it doesn't exist somewhere in a decade + of rantings, but I think you're just filling in the blanks with supposition there.

Just as soon as every fucking one else does. As soon as the mentality of reckless abandon on the taxpayers' dime dies a deserved death. As soon as people start acting like they are accountable for the consequences of their actions and how it may impact others. I'm not holding my breath.

ASSHOLE. He is NOT "my" Trump. I never voted for him, never supported him, never opposed a single negative consequence for him. What you're doing there is indulging some mindless goddamn "With us or against us" bullshit by default. Fuck you very much.

    Nope.
They aren't. They shouldn't have to suffer. But you're still failing to connect the dots to where that is my responsibility to rectify. If you weren't such a cowardly fucking bullshitter you would come out and admit you believe I owe a perpetual, unconditional debt to society no matter how little direct culpability I have towards anyone else's situation. But you won't. You'll couch it in smug, condescending emotional blackmail rhetoric and congratulate yourself for "putting me in my place." Screechy cause-heads like you are a dime a fucking dozen. Take your condescending sanctimony and probe yourself with it.

Just because you surrender in apathy doesn't mean anyone else cannot work towards minimizing their engagement with the collective.

Except everyone who lives within their means and takes responsibility for their choices gets to be the "bottom" by default, whether they like it or not.
