So what's the story behind the name "Mallory Bash"?
Actually, there really isn't one. When I did the first doodle of the character, I just had the name "Mallory" stuck in my head, and "Bash" sounded good with it.
How about showing us some pictures of where you do your work? Your studio or whatnot.
Nothing special. I sit at a diner booth in my dining room with a laptop and a Monoprice drawing tablet.
Moar nu stuf.
New paintings! Some of my best work ever.
My final project in Animation, and my final project of college.
"An accident during a boy's baptism leaves him without his memory, transcending the figurative 'clean slate.'"
I always knew religion was dangerous.
Not exactly the point of the short, but take from it what you will, I suppose.
New brushes and new self-portrait!
That's great! The expression really makes it.
Two more pieces! The first one was just for fun. The second is a promotional poster for an animated short I hope to pitch to Frederator fairly soon, called Pie Girl.
Great stuff. Some nice touches--like the paint "texture" and the subsurface scattering you do in the ears--really brings things up a notch.
The new Pie Girl character, Cheri Templeton. She drives an old Morgan delivery truck (around 1910) that she's suped up and converted into a mobile candie and pop shoppe.
More Pie Girl stuff!
More Pie Girl! This is Dagobert LaTour and his robot oven Fougue.
And the final two illustrations for Pie Girl.
My own little version of Harley Quinn. Clearly I'm a traditionalist on this particular debate.
24-Hour Lobster Delivery Service! (Whether you want it or not.)
Mallory Bash Comic Strip #2: "You Are Home"
Mallory Bash Strip #2: "Arizona Rogers"
My very first time participating in Inktober. Here's "Bad TV."
Working on framing, anatomy, and portraiture.
She is literally framed by that window behind her.
