"Wellness" and "health" sells better than "weight loss."

Also, WW makes people think of Wonder Woman. :async:

I've been to a few WW meetings when my wife was in it - trust me I did not seeing anyone even close to resembling Wonder Woman.
But along these lines is DUNKIN DONUTS changing their name to DUNKIN. My wife said it's because they offer more than just donuts - fair enough.
But riddle me this Batman: are all the new choices they offer DUNKABLE? :chris: Other than donuts, not a lot of foods are designed for dunking, nor do they have a rich dunking history. Thus DUNKIN is a totally misleading name, and should go down in flames as a dismal failure representing corporate cluelessness.

anything that changes a word ending with the letter the letter "S" to a "Z" is also lame as fuck.

Kentucky Fried Chicken used to offer beef ribs, so I'm gonna have to say "cow"?

Probably a good move. Weight Watchers sounds like one of those websites where you pay to watch videos of women eating cheeseburgers.

Depends how loosely you define "dunkable" I suppose.

if it's anything like Tim Horton's here, then you'll have scone like things, bagels, cookies, a few other pastries/cakes, maybe even a couple that resemble biscotti...

well most of those are dunkable I will admit that. But if your background and main platform remains the donut, don't ditch the donut part of your brand.

While I'd tend to agree in principal (because I'm somewhat stuck in the past), but background doesn't necessarily define platforms... indeed, those need to be changeable to reflect growth (or else the company/organization, etc.) will be stuck in the past.

The humble donut shop now aspires to become a cafe... made ironic by the proliferation of craft donut shops (with $3 donuts, FFS!)

if I pay $3 for a donut it better be big enough to feed my family. Option B I get to eat the donut off a hot chick's body.
