Can anyone cite ALL the examples across the various fictions where canonuity sucks donkey balls? And it occurs in ALL genres, or most anyway. The easiest examples can be found in Science Fiction & Fantasy.

I'll start the listing &/or talk about where canonuity sucks dead bunnies through a broken & busted straw right here:
    Alien 3
    Alien Resurrection
    Prometheus
    Alien Covenant

    Godfather 3

    ...

Oh, you want the worst broken continuity in film? Look no further than the Highlander series. I mean, did the production staff on the second film ever even watch the first one?

All the Texas Chainsaw movies after 2.

All the Hellraiser movies after 4.

    Leprechaun, period.

    Three Stooges.
Every single short is a reboot.

Unfortunately for fandom, BOTH ST: Voyager & ST: Enterprise are apart of official Trek canonuity. Ditto for ST V: TFF.

ALOT of fandom hates all 3 of those things, & all 3 of things are canonuity.

IIRC, Halloween 3 was supposed to be the start of a sort of anthology series of movies. But since it tanked, no more were made.

It was also the only halloween that really interested me. frankly slasher movies are boring without something else which is why I love the Nightmare on elm street movies.

    It's a cult classic now.
    I really dig it.
If you ignore the title, and take it as its own thing, it's a cool little movie.

Yeah, it really is. Creepy, moody thing. And that song sticks in your brain. "Three more days to Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, three more days to Halloween, Silver Shamrock!"
