Man this thread draws rep like moths to a flame, or perhaps the draw appeals more to flies...

No, garamet understands the difference between real life and fiction. You remind me of that segment of the black audience who hounded Butterfly McQueen all her life because they confused historic accuracy with racism.

Or maybe you're just a hater:

I honestly don't why gul, Ancalagon and El Chup are so upset. Ancalagon is the real mystery, we've never been more than passing acquaintances and now I'm his arch-enemy! Though to be fair, more than one member uses the account.

gul, jumps on every drama band wagon but this time he seems sincerely flustered.

As for El Chup, I actually have sympathy for him, he's been unhappy for quite awhile now but I haven't the ego to assume it has anything to do with me.

Anyway, I hope they aren't actually upset in real life. I come here to have fun, and I'm hoping they feel the same way.

    That said...

You three(?) bastards can sucka fat dick! Three third rate personas do not one competent troll make! Dammit!

    Why can't I get a worthwhile arch-enemy! Storm had Cass, garamet had Kirk1Adm, Diacanu/Pthalo, Baba/spelling....

What do I get? Three unfunny passive-aggressive drama queens whose arsenal consists of neg-repping old posts, playing lawyerball, and describing the real "Clyde."

    :nyer:

As for RickDeckard, sorry bub you just didn't make the cut.

Hey Clyde, since you seem to thrive on negative attention, why can't you answer a simple question in the helpdesk? What's wrong with you that you can't perform your modley duties? Did you ask Lanzman for a leave of absence? These things really should be announced.

What now? Well that certainly is a new descriptor to add to the list.

[-]Why can't you stop being a passive-aggressive coward?[/-] Man up and state your beef bub.

Good grief, you're not going to cry are you?

My goodness you really are running on fumes.

You forgot to throw in a California reference.

Although el chup has proven the necessity of asking you over and over, the likelihood of you actually stepping up with an answer is very low. But answering is really a good idea. No one will think less of you for making a mistake. Refusing to answer or own up to your actions, well yeah, that doesn't look so good.

Curioser and curioser. Your refusal to answer a simple question IS the beef and you can't not know it by now.

Of course, the only one being passive-aggressive here is you, including in your determination to reflect that charge back on others who are anything but passive in their aggression toward you.

Well in all fairness he has proven nothing.

The change in tactic is a nice touch, guess I should thank you for looking out for me... You're a true pal. Yet my opinion remains unchanged.

BTW - I've no interest in upsetting you in real life. Part of the fun of WF is getting wound-up about issues that don't matter!

RickDeckard, applications aren't currently being accepted. Your enthusiasm is appreciated but you need to seriously up your game. I gave you a springboard earlier (you know the whole claiming I'm under-taxed/you're over-taxed thing) but all you brought was neutered neg rep.

Then by all means, continue to wind yourself up. It's fun for the audience, although I'll be honest and say that I prefer the old Clyde, to Clyde 2.0.

I'd like to retract and correct my earlier statement. Both you and 14thDoctor are being obtuse. It should go without saying (but apparently I have to say it anyway): I don't think Jamie Foxx is a whitey killer, or that he gets a kick out of blowing away white people. I can separate Jame Foxx the actor from Django the slave turned bounty hunter just fine.

Point is, he made a racial statement that was pretty offensive, never apologized (not saying he had to, but feel I have to point this out based on who I'm replying to), and didn't suffer professionally because of it. Deen admitted to using a word 30 years ago in court, said she doesn't use that word anymore, then said that she does not support the use of it today. And sponsors trampled each other to get away from her as fast as possible, even after a series of apologies. And the disparity in response from the public is based on race. And that's the point of the image.

Apparently the humor centers of your brain that handle appreciating sarcasm have atrophied from decades of being a leftist.

    EDIT: Post #2,000 :whoopdedoo:

I think he just really really wants a Forgie and has decided that the Lesbian Shoes Award for Excellence in Self-Pawning was the easiest for him to lock down.

So, let's see. Foxx made the statement on SNL. Yanno, a show that attempts (note I say "attempts") to be funny. At least it's classified as humor. He was, one assumes (I don't watch the show), laughing when he made the statement.

    On a "funny" show.

But you've decided - maybe only because you found a "cute" visual to post - to take him seriously.

And you're lecturing me about a sense of humor. Fascinating.
