Supposedly they let you play a history teacher, science teacher, drunk ass environmental police officer, a man, and a human being despite clearly not being qualified for any of those real world roles.

Of course, the reality is any role they cast will in is going to have it's detractors because people like to complain about bullshit when it comes to movies. See ghostbusters female version.

Not all black people are interchangeable.

And colorism exists. The darker ypur skin, the less work you get in Hollywood. That goes double for actresses

All that said, even if Will Smith physically resembled their father, I heard the guy was a bit of a hard ass. I dunno that Smith could pull that one off.

No I didn't. I found some guys picture online to use as my avatar photo but the name and any facts about him were pure invention on my part.

And I didn't even then "play a drunk".

I think Will Smith has been typecast into the comedy and action roles because that is where he is bankable and people want to see him. I bet he can play a less comedic hard ass being he does have some acting skills. I would say he is someone like Robin Williams who did a really decent creepy stalker, but was rarely cast in those roles. The real question would be does the audience want to see him without the wisecracks? I think they will, but I don't think it will be a blockbuster given the content. That is what is really going to be criticized is that this movie will not be a blockbuster and will has gotten a lot of criticism over some of his more recent roles for not carrying the movie into blockbuster profit territory. I don't see this as a movie you need to see in the theaters and would probably be more enjoyable in the comforts of your home.

Bigger than Will Smith? I don't think so.

(Though I am glad Elba is reportedly set to take the role of Deadshot--formerly played by Smith--in the new Suicide Squad film. I think he's a better fit.)

It's good to know that if a movie was to be made of his life @Dayton3 would have no problem with Will Smith playing his dad.

Actually Amy and I discussed this in depth a few years ago and we both agreed that Robert Duvall would be the optimal choice.

More salient, is Will Smith blue enough to play the Genie? Doubtful.

I think the point is actually @Dayton3 trying to hijack a red room thread to discuss him. That would only be because of his history of doing it and previous ban for doing those things.

You should be grateful to me. I've been told that were it not for me you would've been banned long ago.

Nice lie. However, I am pretty sure you have done quite the opposite and failed at getting me banned for a while. I know your other personalities may not have mentioned this, but I have caught you trying to get me banned in the past. I am pretty sure the idea that the mods have been listening to you and not banning me because of how much they totally respect you and your opinions is not the lie you want to try with me.

Do remember your sig says that you would love to see me banned as an improvement to this place.

My guess is one of his personalities. Probably the one who thinks that people are going to make movies about him, that one day he will be president, and that one day he will own wordforge and all the places that have mocked him and banned him in the past and have revenge on everyone.

I am not holding my breath for that day.

Why do you keep repeating the lie that I have multiple personalities? It is bad enough you repeatedly lie about my education background and the impacts of my past health problems.

Why you are still here is a mystery.

At least El Chup was useful.
