It made me think of "A History of Violence". As I told Mrs Spider: as truly wonderful as cars like that are, they'd get ripped to shreds by a modern hot hatch. He'd have been better off with a new-ish Honda Civic.
Does anyone know who plays the lead character. I forgot where I've seen him. Terrible performance. Cardboard IMO.
If by trolling you mean commenting on awful acting, then yes, guilty as charged. If I had to choose one reason this show will get canceled I would place the blame squarely on the lead actor.
And I would put it down to they aired it on a Sunday night. I forgot it was even on because I was out of town. And there usually isn't anything I watch on Sundays anyway.
Also it was partially opposite Sopranos, so there was pretty much NO chance anyone would watch it live.
Already looking for excuses. Fox is not stopping people from watching the show. People just don't want to watch.
People didn't watch the show because they already had shows they watch at that time. For instance: Desperate Housewives, The Amazing Race, Dateline, Deal or No Deal, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and The Sopranos all aired against the two-hour block that Drive premiered in. I can't make sense of Nielsen ratings, so I'm guessing based on their little ratings scores, but from what I can tell Desperate Housewives placed first, The Sopranos placed second, and Drive placed third (maybe fourth).
