Who is the wordforger you'd like most to see in person?

Marso and Muad'Dib and the Alberts and Meka and Shakes...heck, there's not many here I wouldn't want to meet.

Plus I always pick up the tab when I meet a Forger. Well, except in Chewie's case because we always hang out in movie theaters....wait, that doesn't sound right, does it?

I'm sorry that I don't know you all as well as I'd like. But I'd like to meet Storm. He's seems like an okay guy. Though I'd be concerned that'd he'd be armed. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I've met a few of the Brits. I expect to meet a couple of others soon... (hi Scruff, Sunshine )
I'd really like to meet Dan. I refuse to believe he's that negative RL. Plus, he's a bloody good photographer, and that's a talent I can always admire.

I've met a fair number of people when I traveled to Ohio, London, France, Orlando, D.C., etc. One thing that always makes me smile is how many of them, lively and verbal online, are painfully shy IRL.

I'm pretty much what you see online. Shy isn't a word in my vocabulary.

I hope to do a NYC meet-up next year.

Some do. But it's amazing how normal most are.

I don't think it's a Star Trek fan thing. More it's an internet thing. I've seen plenty of Keyboard Warriors online who would pee their pants if they had to meet their online adversaries irl.

The anonymity of the 'net makes some big and bad and bold. Online anyhow. It happens at many sites, not just Star Trek ones.

Nautica, POTN, Pylades, the Alberts, Forbin (and dog), thelurker (just don't ask me to drink!), Chuck, Dan, Summerteeth, Scorponok, Meka, Mandi, Nick, Goldeneye, Cheeky, Sheph - oops - Shadow, Async b/c of France, Chewie because I killed him, though his "practical reasons" for wanting to meet me will most likely throw him off the list (that's why Storm ain't on it), Bailey, Vandy, Dead Peon, FrijolMalo because he's near, though I don't think we'd have much in common (Jenna could very easily meet him since she'll be studying near him), eh, and some others.
