Yeah....I just don't feel sympathetic for the guy, even if his story is true. That's the bottom line - I don't feel sorry for him. It's great that everybody else wants to jump on the "Love Shep" bandwagon, but not me. His children are a different story, they're innocents, and I would help them.

Flashlight, do you remember a while ago (2 years?), you had a personal problem with some guys on another board out to get you? Something to do with you meeting some of them in real life as you went through a tough time. Things didn't work out well for whatever reason and they tried to troll you on WF with some pretty fucking embarrassing shit as I recall.

You came on and implored anyone reading to not respond and please just pass on by, this was a personal thing and please respect that. I didn't see another post in that thread after yours (though I could be mistaken). The community didn't fuck with you. I think your reaction here is appalling and indefensible.

I don't want to be full of myself, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that Shep would consider me one of his biggest antagonists on here at one point, with some vitriol going back and forth. But despite my low opinion of some of his social views, I can recognize he's a good man and I am sorry to hear of his tragedy.

I'm a starving student still but there's definitely a few superior canadian dollars destined for the paypal account for a man like him.

We should find out what gift cards are in his area. Alternatively, amazon.com offers giftcards too. While not an immediate pay off, orders of over 25 dollars ship free and get there pretty quick too.
