Yeah, I've never gotten the love for Chipotle. I've had a few of their burritos (my kids like the place for some reason), but they taste pretty bland to me. AFAIK, there are no New York Burrito franchises here, but Freebird's World Burrito rocks.
1. Café Yumm! 2. Carl's Jr. 3. Taco Time 4. Taco Bell 5. Jack-in-the-Box 6. Quiznos 7. Burgerville 8. Wendy's 9. Sonic 10. Burger King 11. Subway 12. McD's 13. KFC/A&W No In-and-Outs, Arby's shut down.
I'm a bit sad. For too long, now, I've had The King, shaking hands with The King as my avatar. Given this news and the recent anniversary of the death of The King, it is finally topical. But I see a greater need for a new avatar.
I likes me teh BK. If I'm late for something or on my way to the ski slopes, I'll hit the drive-thru and pick up the $1 cheeseburger and the $1 onion rings. A decent calorie-laden meal for two bucks.
I love Arby's--unfortunately, the only one in my town is run like the government runs the post office.
Arby's= full of win Hardees'= for politically incorrect meals Chick-Fil-A= great, and closed on Sunday Wendy's= good burgers McDonalds= great fries but nothing else
I don't really like any of the burger places around here. Sometimes I go to Red Robin. But that doesn't really count as fast food.
The only thing I like at BurgerKing is the classic chicken sandwich. Yeah, I know it's fried processed chicken loaf, but damn it's good. Everything else is crap.
I like Chick-Fil-A. McDonald's had better fries back in the pre-food nazi days when they fried those things to death in coconut oil. But, ever since they have been forced to use vegetable oil, even they can't produce the same taste in the fries that they once could.
I used to go to this place as a kid. Their root beer was awesome, and they also sold it in gallon jugs to take home. http://www.dognsudsdrivein.com/about.aspx
I've been to the one in Vegas. They are pretty good. For those who like frequenting businesses that offer decent benefits to their full time employees, another one that makes decent burgers is Steak and Shake. A friend of mine who works for United Healthcare told me that their employees medical benefits are some of the best plans they have to offer, even better than the ones the employees at United Health get.
Coconut oil? Forced? http://www.rense.com/general7/whyy.htm Looks like it was never coconut oil, and they changed over willingly.
Well said. Burger King's biggest problem is its horrible service and the fact their food is so bland. Plus their fries are HORRIBLE. The whopper is very good, but they need to add to that.
They're not bad. You get a lot of fries, but I'm not fond of them. A burger, fries, and drink will set you back about ten bucks.
Five Guys is awesome! Alas, there are none where I currently live. There is another place around here called Smash Burger. Not bad. They let you customize your burger.
I miss What'a'Burger when I'm back in Washington. Jack in the Box has more selection for late night cravings but they still can't beat a Double Meat, Double Cheese, Double Bacon, Grilled Onions and Jalapeno Whataburger. No Checker's either and the nearest Hardee's (they call it Carl's Jr.) is an hour away. Miss them. Fatburger is good (like Five Guys the burgers are delicious but pricey) and you can get beer so that's cool. Dick's Drive In (of Posse on Broadway fame) is awesome when in the city. Herfy's Burgers has good burgers and shakes when you're out in the suburbs. I don't miss Krystal at all. Until we discovered a backroads way to Whataburger Krystal was the only late night fast food we could safely get to. Those little things are nasty going down and even worse coming up.
Krystal... blugh. Sounds like they fry their burgers in meth or some shit. Whataburger's not convenient to get to. Fatburger either. What is close, and pretty damn good, is Sonic.
