I say we blame The Almight Sumbitch for all the world's problems. He's the one who created us, so it's His fault we keep fucking things up!!!
I blame God for the platypus! I mean...seriously, WTF was He drinking at the time? I bet he was shitfaced on Jaegermeister and said to Angel Gabriel, "Hey, what do you think would happen if we crossed a duck with a beaver? BWWWUUAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!"
Complete BS. You create your kids. That doesn't make you forever responsible for the bad things they do or the good things they fail to do.
He purposefully made human beings to be flawed! He could have made us perfect, but Nnnnnoooooooooo!!!!! God is a selfish cunt!
It means that I believe that there is a spiritual existence and that life continues after physical death. I don't believe in the God of The Bible or the dogma that accompanies most religions. I honestly don't know if there is a god or overall creative force behind everything or not. I guess I'll find out when I'm dead.
But how would that work? If the software doesn't need a computer, why bother with the computer? It'd be like having Tony Stark's holo-emission interface, and fiddle-fucking around with an early 90's Macintosh.
Learning how to be a better non-humanoid by being a humanoid...would be like learning how to be a better window washer by being a chicken slaughterer. The skill-sets are incompatible.
It's not about learning how to be a better humanoid. It's about the growth of the spirit. We are spiritual beings having a (temporary) human experience, not the other way around.
And WTF does that mean? Why is "spirituality", so buzz-wordy? Why can't it ever get to the fucking point?
It is to the point, but you are putting your own values on it and its confusing you. To break it down more clearly, we are all spiritual beings temporarily wearing meat suits and experiencing a physical existence. It's only temporary. The "growth of the spirit" simply means your growth, as a spiritual being. Of course most of us are so out of touch with our spiritual selves that we think it doesn't exist.
Can I quote that the next time you pretend that you don't draw conclusions about the existence of ghosts?
Oh, so these spiritual beings that temporarily inhabit human flesh and which persist after our deaths are other than ghosts?
