I can't figure out how to find the thread, but basically he went off on shootER in a way that made no sense, was ugly, and generally offended everybody who read the post. He got about a hundred neg reps, and never came back.

People would spot that as a hoax too quickly. Obama spending his own money? Nobody would fall for that.

It wasn't just that, even though that was already completely absurd and would have discredited him even further, if he hadn't been working so hard on doing that all along. But he also threatened to contact shootER's boss and get him fired, which was what caused the unanimous uprising against him. He can take being insulted, especially by people he doesn't like (religious people, conservative people, Southerners...), but being made a laughingstock by everyone, from left to right and north to south, made him unwilling to show his face again.

I'm sure he'll be back...it's just a matter of what name will he be wearing?

Yes, I was mad at him for other posts and flipped out on him for no really good reason. For that I am sorry. I decided I was taking the internet way to personally and decided to have a self imposed vacation for a while to concentrate on real life for a bit. I few months later I came back to lurk and saw a stickied thread talking about new management and decided to try the place out again to see how the new management was working. My mistake was taking internet way to seriously when really it shouldn't be and for the record, no, I did not in any way threaten to tell anyone's boss and instead just asked if he'd like his boss to see it and then suggested he take it down. To claim anything else is to lie.

BTW you of all people don't get to say anything about violating real life because we all still remember your internet stalking and posting real life pictures of posters without their permission. Just saying you live in a glass house so maybe you should stop throwing stones especially when your claim is factually incorrect.
