I think my neighbor's cat is trying to give me toxoplasmosis. It clearly loves Mr feels rubbing up against my leg. I think there is something wrong with kitty.
Toxoplasmosis is passed through cat feces. Don't play in your neighbor's cat's litterbox and you should be okay.
I grilled a duck on Saturday. It was freaking phenomenal. On to the grill: Ready for carving: Fuck yeah!
Tonight I had Italian sweet sausage & mushroom/green pepper pasta sauce over cheese ravioli. Very tasty!
You can buy them at most super markets. I am lazy so when I have duck I usually order Peking duck pre-made to go. Many of the Asian markets will sell it be cooked and ready to carve for under $20.
Shouldn't it be "Beijing duck" by now? Hrm... Peking chicken wings. Looks interesting. Last night I made chicken curry with onions, celery, and potatoes using leg quarters that were on sale for $0.99 a pound.
That is kind of a high price. I got deboned and marinade chicken leg quarters at Vallarta Market (Mexican super market) for $0.69 a pound. Their Weds sales are great. http://m.vallartasupermarkets.com 3 lbs of white onions $1, 5 lbs of potatoes $1, various fruit also for similar prices.
Hmm, didn't come out so well. In the original you can clearly read $0.69 a pound. Also the image hosting company seemed to put it upside down while I view it right side up on my phone.
I went to the escondido one so check out the weds one day sale prices. Good stuff. Link to flier: http://m.vallartasupermarkets.com/en/weekly-specials/Escondido-30 The $0.69 marinated, deboned, chicken leg quarters are on page 5. I also bought two whole chickens at $0.89 a pound so I could rotisserie them up later.
You excel at getting things wrong. Go read the refugee thread if you would like to learn my position because what you are projecting isn't any where close.
It's quite clear from your posting history that, to borrow @Anna's imagery, you don't want anyone darker than a Manila folder coming into "your" country. Where did your people come from, and how long have they been here? Can you prove they got here legally?
In Dinner's slight defense, his problem seems to be illegals that don't work and disrupt the populace. Still, if you, Dinner, think that a store chain based ten miles out from the Mexican border doesn't have a few folks with fake papers to get hired, then I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell ya.
I generally don't care about illegals and never have. My main objection is to muslim immigration as the frequently fail to adapt and all too often become diseffected and commit terrorist acts. My general thinking is no muslims = no Islamic terrorism. You'll notice Japan doesn't have any problems with Islamic terror as they don't let any muslims in.
HA HA HA HA! No. The basis gist of this and the other articles on this topic is that they're as sick of the violence as we are, and they pick Japan specifically to get as far away as possible. I'm assuming these are not the welfare immigrants that have you foaming at the mouth, since it requires a lot of money to fly off the Eurasian continent to an island country. Mind you, the Japanese are one of the most xenophobic countries in the Westernized world that have no fucks to give about kicking foreigners outta restraints and barring sailors from local shrines because they keep acting like assholes.
There's a very large Persian population where I live. Most fled Iran when the ayatollahs came to power. Many are represented in the healthcare professions; others run small businesses. They are family-oriented, and very concerned with seeing to it that their children and grandchildren get a good education so that they can have more advantages than they had (most came here with whatever they could fit into a single suitcase). When @Dinner does his little O'Reillyesque rants about how "those people keep to themselves and refuse to adapt to Murica," I have to laugh.
Shia'a are far less objectionable than sunni. Sunni are responsible for around 3/4th of all terrorist attacks world wide.
