The accelerationist theory of voting Trump is intriguing, but ultimately I think there's too many failsafes and powerful interested parties to keep us from that.
Trumps listed his potential nominees and they are solid picks. Hillary can't form a list until she sees who donates the most to the Clinton Foundation.
Considering I support all of the Constitutionally recognized rights, I'm not seeing anyone Hillary nominates as any better. It's just a matter of what rights our new President and their pick(s) decide us little people shouldn't have anymore.
I said "your blogger" only in the sense of "the blogger you quoted" since I was too lazy to go back and look for the person's name
Oh, I agree, which is virtually the only policy matter which gives me a solid argument for her over him (the rest is temprament, and who his supporters are) The court appointments will be much better with her. But that doesn't mean we won't be fucked in various other ways. To be frank though, I basically just concede all the (reasonable) anti-Clinton rhetoric rather than defender her. I'll step up against rank stupidity like "hit squads" but for the most part, if folks want to call her corrupt - fine, she's corrupt whatever. Because everything they say about her, he's as bad or worse in the same area, plus he has all that other baggage besides. It's magnificent to behold the cognitive dissonance of people who insist they can't vote for her because she's lying, untrustworthy, corrupt, arrogant, dangerous, whatever....and they think Trump is the antidote to any of that. I don't feel the need to say she's not any of those things, probably she is most of them, possibly she's not as bad as they say. Either way, i don't propose to defender her. I'm just laughing through my tears at the blindness of those who think he's any better. (on the other hand, for those who really do want the Pharisees to have power, and Republican style tax cuts, and whatever other policy positions they hope he'll enact, or really do want a big fucking wall...I disagree with their politics but fine, I can respect that choice. I can't respect the folks who think there's only one lying, corrupt, arrogant candidate in the race)
Neither do the Pharisees. I heard a couple of them discussing them on AFR the other day. Lavishing all their "religious liberty" bullshit praise on them. Yeah, I'll pass.
Trump has officially announced he'd roll back reproductive choice, and the SC nominees would reflect that. Can't tapdance around that, gturner. https://www.sba-list.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Trump-Letter-on-ProLife-Coalition.pdf
I think he's full of shit on that one. The guy is definitely pro choice and incredibly good at pandering, I think in reality nothing really gets done one way or the other. He just sees a great opportunity here to get more voters on his side.
You sure it's going to get more voters on his side? He drew a line in the sand that for a lot of people is the one thing they won't compromise. Some Trump voters might be pro-choice and will not vote for him now. I'd bet that is more the case than the number of Clinton voters he pulls away with this stance.
Well, correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the pro lifers be more establishment republicans, and aren't the establishment republicans the ones who say they aren't voting for Trump? Let's be honest though, everyone who supports republicans were probably going to vote for the guy anyways because Hillary is that awful of a candidate and Republicans have a massive Clinton stick up their asses.
Banning late term abortions and taking money away from procedures that don't include rape/incest. Sounds completely extreme.
Smart kids have more to say than you (and say it better). These days I'll only discuss with smart kids and up.
You're Internet-Tough-Guy/Pseudo-Intellectual-Blowhard #2568 right from the middle of the Troll catalog. They make you in a factory in China.
Is that who you discuss your amazing dick size with? Tell us more about your humongous dick @Tuttle !
^ You, like markb, are short on substance (often completely lacking), and long on unwarranted insults. You guys gotta be compensating for some major inadequacies in RL, and micro peni are the most likely prognosis (when you're trolling and flaming persists without any content, say for over three posts in a row). You're like slightly smarter daytons and other armchair warriors. But compared to normal people, mine's just regular sized to a bit above avg., so sue me.
True establishment Republicans pay lip-service to Social Con issues to placate the base, but the secretly hate them and want the issues to go away. BASE Republicans, not the same as establishment, are still heavily invested in culture war issues because their Pharisee puppet masters use those issue to manipulate them
that's hardly what the Pharisee base wants. Both sides fight for an extreme position, when there are perfectly obvious compromise positions available, because both sides profit from fighting for an all-or-nothing outcome.
Philly Police union endorses Trump They say Hillary snidely blew them off, whereas Trump met with them and listened.
