So Trump would be the LAST person they'd pick. Can you say "loose cannon"? Again, this is so fucking stupid it sets new records. It's dumber than claiming Hillary is a secret Romulan agent.
More fucking stupidity. Did you people fall off the back of a turnip truck? NBC had tapes of Trump on a live mic. Trump don't give a fuck. The KGB wouldn't even be able to figure out what Trump was saying, because he says anything. Not even Trump can control Trump, much less someone else. And of course he would be at the bottom of their list of 10 million people most likely to become US President, and he would have been a Democrat back then.
If the KGB (which doesn't exist anymore, by the way) sent a message back in time that said the US would be run by a TV entertainment host, the KGB's list of the top thirty people to compromise would be something like: Alex Trebec Pat Sajak Craig Kilborn Jay Leno Jimmy Kimmel Joy Behar Rosie O'Donnell Oprah Winfrey Jeff Probst Ellen Degeneres Craig Ferguson Arsenio Hall Jerry Springer Carson Daily Tom Bergeron Bill Maher Howie Mandel Ryan Seacrest Anthony Bourdain Steve Harvey Jane Lynch James Lipton Gordon Ramsay Ru Paul Greg Kminear Ricki Lake Conan O'Brian Chris Rock Daniel Tosh Martha Stewart Trump wouldn't even have made the list - even one that was narrowed down to TV hosts.
Investigating Donald Trump, F.B.I. Sees No Clear Link to Russia http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/11/01/us/politics/fbi-russia-election-donald-trump.html
They're pretty clever, those Russians. They stole all of Hillary's emails, put them on Huma's laptop, then framed Anthony Weiner.
To be fair, the Democrats probably thought the Gestapo was rigging the 1960 election. They don't keep up with history much.
While Hillary and her cronies scream that Trump has a secret computer link to the Russians, the New York Times reports that the FBI looked at it for months and concluded the message traffic was marketing spam.
While that is true, it is also true that the streak usually gets stopped after eight years, rather than 12, and that incumbent presidents who seek re-election usually win. (Winners in the post-FDR era: Eisenhower, Johnson, Nixon, Reagan, Clinton, Bush II, Obama. Losers: Ford, Carter, Bush I.)
While all that is true, we're dealing with tiny sample size, even smaller than you think. Presidential elections are sui generis as a category, and can't really be compared to other elections, and even beyond that, the political and cultural climate change so rapidly that comparing presidential elections today to those 32 years ago is dicey, and comparing them to those from 60 years ago is ridiculous. Saying what's normal for presidential elections, behind talking about what's a direct result of the election structure, is one of the most pointless things pundits and political scientists do. That's why only poll based models are worth more than shit at presidential election forecasting.
UK Guardian: The Podesta e-mails show who runs America and how they do it It's worth reading, and ends with: This genre of Podesta email, in which people try to arrange jobs for themselves or their kids, points us toward the most fundamental thing we know about the people at the top of this class: their loyalty to one another and the way it overrides everything else. Of course Hillary Clinton staffed her state department with investment bankers and then did speaking engagements for investment banks as soon as she was done at the state department. Of course she appears to think that any kind of bank reform should “come from the industry itself”. And of course no elite bankers were ever prosecuted by the Obama administration. Read these emails and you understand, with a start, that the people at the top tier of American life all know each other. They are all engaged in promoting one another’s careers, constantly. Everything blurs into everything else in this world. The state department, the banks, Silicon Valley, the nonprofits, the “Global CEO Advisory Firm” that appears to have solicited donations for the Clinton Foundation. Executives here go from foundation to government to think tank to startup. There are honors. Venture capital. Foundation grants. Endowed chairs. Advanced degrees. For them the door revolves. The friends all succeed. They break every boundary. But the One Big Boundary remains. Yes, it’s all supposed to be a meritocracy. But if you aren’t part of this happy, prosperous in-group – if you don’t have John Podesta’s email address – you’re out. It more resembles the goings on in a European royal court in the 1700's than anything that's supposed to happen in America.
Oh and that email Ramen posted from Podesta telling Cheryl Mills they need to dump those emails? Happened right after the New York Times exposed Clinton had a secret server to the public. I really hope that Wikileaks has those erased emails. Or that Huma foolishly has them on that computer of hers. I want to see all the Yoga and wedding plans they "dumped" into Bleachbit.
And Cheryl Mills was on the March 2015 conference call to the hosting service that then used BleachBit on Hillary's servers, knowing that the e-mails were under subpoena. The IT people pleaded the Fifth.
