That's the same as voting for Hillary or not voting at all, and aside from destroying the Republic, encourages libertarians to keep fielding doofus candidates.
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/02/u...gNews&contentID=64500801&pgtype=Homepage&_r=0 The "Comey was in a bind" business is silly. All he had to do was confidentially inform the ranking members so that it couldn't be said "you didn't tell Congress" without publishing a letter to be disclosed to the public.
I'm not, but I'm in Mississippi and can afford that luxury. For those who's vote matters, the reasons have been described, the thought process is like this: Clinton has a multitude of flaws> Each of Clinton's verifiable flaws have a direct analog in Trump> Trump has many other flaws which do not have a direct analog in Clinton Thus, Trump is the more flawed candidate and, given the nature of his unique flaws, is a real and present danger to the country. Sadly, even if he loses he has already done grave damage by way of the forces his campaign has legitimized.
Reagan wouldn't be able to run as a Republican today, he'd be too left leaning for them. The funny thing is as far as I know, Kennedy isn't held up as a demigod by the left like Reagan is by the right.
Reagan is too left wing? What happened to the idiocy that Reagan was using AIDS to kill gay people? What about prayer in public schools? What about firing unionized federal employees? What about the cowboy who was going to start WWIII? What about the Star Wars missile defense? Reagan is to the right of modern Republicans. John F Kennedy is to the right of modern Republicans.
Hey, I'M not disputing Reagan is far too right-wing for any sane person. But for the Republican base... he's not right enough.
Carville Blows Up On MSNBC Anchor: Our Democracy Is Under Assault By Comey, The KGB And Republicans http://www.realclearpolitics.com/vi...assault_by_comey_the_kgb_and_republicans.html
Yep. Idiots like Ramen and gturner played right in to their hands, too. The damage is long lasting and deep. But then again, it only exposes what was already here. Our country has legitimate problems created by fifty years worth of concerted efforts to degrade education, sew hatred and fear. The Russians just needed to give a slight push, and Trump was the perfect tool. Deplorable nation.
He didn't release the letter to the public. He told Congress and they released the letter. If no one in Congress had told the public about the letter then none of us would have known about it. So claiming he could have done it confidentially is silly given the people he was sending the letter too are notorious for not keeping their mouths shut.
For supporting the leakers who are looking more and more to be in the NSA, CIA, and DoD? Oh, and Hillary is imploding.
And a couple of days later she was on a conference call to Hillary's illegal server's IT service and the e-mails, while under subpoena, were wiped with BleachBit. She gets a free trip to federal prison.
At the end of the day, the hackers (and there is no evidence it was the Russsians) just released what Hillary and her cronies wrote. That is it. If any damage was done then ultimately Hillary & Co did it. Whining about how terrible it is that the public has been made aware of Hillary & Co's actions is just stupid. Now, I am sure the other elites with Rs next to their names do the same thing. All of the elites no doubt feel they are above the law, but, the cancer is caused by these elites not by the people who expose them.
The problem is that the release lacks context. Nothing in the e-mails is actually all that bad to anybody who understands the political process. There is similar communication in every campaign, including Trump's currently and prior candidates such as Romney, Obama, and McCain. But when the average voter who doesn't know this sees a bunch of news about leaks, they don't understand that, so they buy the narrative about law breaking and corruption, never mind that there is no such evidence. Watch how gturner will now swoop in with lies about evidence. Most at Wordforge may know enough to ignore him, but a good chunk of the voting population does not. So whether it's Russia or somebody else, there is definite purposeful and malicious manipulation in play. And make no mistake, the biggest loser is not whichever candidate fails on November 8. It's the tarnishing of democracy. How can anybody be trusted again by the people who have bought the hype?
James Carville needs to go back to trying to kill He-Man and stop worrying about the KGB that ceased to exist 25 years ago.
I don't see that and would like to see more leaks from both sides so that the public ends up better informed. I see this as a good thing that elites are exposed and the public gains insight to how they are being manipulated. To make it more fair keep exposing all of them.
Lifezette Democrats, Media, NeverTrump Have National Panic Attack Stunned by FBI bombshell, pundits and Clinton allies whip up new 'Red Scare' There have been few political meltdowns such as the ones being seen in real time now, thanks to Democrat Hillary Clinton’s woes with the FBI. There’s James Carville turning into an exploding pumpkin on CNN on Monday. There’s Harry Reid threatening the FBI director with a violation of the 1939 Hatch Act. And there’s the new Red Scare — the suggestion that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is a Manchurian candidate, a tool of the Russian KGB. That silly charge is back and bigger than ever. In their frenzy to tar Trump as somehow tied to Russian President Vladimir Putin, media big shots are not even watching their own reports. On Tuesday morning, CBS News morning host Gayle King asked why the FBI wasn’t looking at Trump’s alleged ties to Russia. Just minutes earlier, CBS News reporter Norah O’Donnell cited a New York Times article stating there were no Trump ties to Russia, per the FBI. Slate also got burned by, of all outlets, The Times. The left-wing digital outlet reported, breathlessly, that Trump’s servers had been communicating with a Russian bank. Then The Times story came out debunking the claim as nonsense. Yep. The elites are freaking out. It goes on to mention James Carville's extended rant where he all but blamed everything on the strawberries.
The corrupt DoJ is doomed. Loretta Lynch will be not be enjoying her early retirement. They put Peter Kadzik in charge of the renewed investigation of Hillary's e-mails. Likely to get questions on State Department emails. Another filing in the FOIA case went in last night or will go in this am that indicates it will be awhile (2016) before the State Department posts the emails. Yes, the corrupt DoJ is trying to derail the renewed investigation by putting one of Hillary's insiders in charge of it, one who has been leaking information about the investigation directly to Podesta, Mills, and all of Hillary's other corrupt cronies.
The black community seems to be jumping ship. At 2:19:00 Farrakhan starts talking about the election. Hillary is Hitler to blacks.
You need to take a step back and have a think. Parroting tripe like this is not raising your stock around here much. disagreement is great, when there's some originality of thought behind it. So far, you haven't been displaying any. KGB, really?
Far better then your deplorable asshole buddies. What's the matter, too chickenshit to have your very own Pepe avatar?
