The claim has been made that @gturner is spamming the Red Room with garbage from far-right websites.

Let's look at his most recent 10 threads. Does this allegation from JAG Corps hold up to scrutiny?

So, I'm not seeing any mindless spam here. Where's the lack of substance? I see articles drawn from several legitimate sources, not just alt-right conspiracy sites.

Over the course of the month of November, @gturner posted a total of 34 threads in the Red Room. Excessive? Even if he had been limited to 5 threads a day, that would have been 100 threads in the first 20 days of the month. Even if he had been limited to 3 threads of day, that's 60 threads in the first 20 days of the month. @gturner is nowhere near those totals.

So, again, where's the mindless spamming? Where's the littering of the Red Room with endless threads, pushing other, more deserving threads, off the top page?

The facts are there. They are undisputed.

And what is also now undisputed is that the JAG-ER Corps narrative about @gturner is a total and complete lie.

Nah, of course not.

The problem is not with the threads gtardo starts. If someone blamed it on the threads then it's bullshit because quite a few of them to generate discussion.

I think the issue with gtardo's content lies more in the fact that he has no intention of having any level of intellectual discourse. He's here to parrot his views and do little else. Naturally those who are alt-right partisan sheep like him see no issue with his style, for obvious reasons. But if you disagree on a topic and try and engage him on it then he just gets ridiculous. His posts are laced with factual inaccuracies and spin, and when caught out he just doubles down, even if he ends up looking ridiculous. It indicates that he is here to spam and soapbox, not debate.

Having an issue with him not breaking the rules and being subject to a bullshit banning does not translate into his content being good and worthwhile. But then I don't expect Flashie to be the best judge of that since he seems to think that clicking "dumb" tens of thousands of times for months on end is good content.

Okay, I followed the redirect on the banning thread which landed me inside the thread in the violet room.

So I was going to reply to gul's statement that I was sent many warnings via PM. Either he's lying or John's lying to him, because the first warning I got was when I couldn't post anywhere. John was lying his ass off about that earlier, btw.

But when I tried to reply, I got "You don't have permission to view the page or perform this action." Apparently I don't actually have any violet room access, either!

So yeah, the whole thing is complete and utter bullshit. Fortunately John obviously hasn't stripped my PM ability yet, but he no doubt will do so pretty shortly.

Oh, and yesterday, right after John warned me that he would revoke my PM privileges, my chat functions went way. I often chat with Teh Baba.

Anyway, they are some sick, sick people, building a dungeon and then trying to stick people in it. That's some Silence of the Lambs bullshit.

But that's not a warning.

A warning is a notice to someone to change their behavior before a penalty ensues, not a notice that a penalty is already in place.

gturner is correct when he states that he was not warned prior to his ban.

You guys banned someone for no apparent violation of the rules, and did so without any possibility of his avoiding such a ban.

The only thing that's missing here is the Tamar poll. You know the one - where she would submit a poll related to an unpopular member, knowing that the question being asked is irrelevant, because people will vote against whatever the unpopular member supports. Then the poll is used as "evidence" against the unpopular member and whatever the unpopular member supports.

They're trying to claim that he was warned by John in the Violet Room announcement thread by tagging him in posts explaining the general idea behind the room.

None of those posts set out a rule.

Why don't you post a thread, without any bullshit, simply asking whether or not gturner's ban was justified? A yes or no poll.

gturner is not a popular member. He is one of the most loathed. But I wouldn't be surprised if he prevailed in such a poll.
