Of course it's speech they don't like so they try to shut up the speaker and they succeeded.

Milo Yiannopoulos was set to speak last night and students were protesting as usual and a riot broke out. Property destroyed, fires set, people attacked.

Typical leftists. Love free speech as long as it's speech they agree with.

The crazy thing about this is the protesters are only increasing Milo's reputation. They aren't actually accomplishing anything except showing themselves to be as fascist as much as they claim Milo is a fascist.

If you don't like Milo the worst way to deal with him is to riot against him. Especially when a significant part of the country already looks at the leftist students as nutty.

Destroying Starbucks because you're upset Milo is going to speak at your school? Didn't Starbucks say they were going to hire 10,000 refugees? Why attack them?

    Links have videos.

Trump of course tweets on it:

Gotta disagree there. The university did allow Milo to speak.

The free speech movement started in UC Berkley. Looks like that era is officially over.

The cure for bad speech is more speech, not less.
Milo is a nitwit, he should be easy to beat.
But, SJWs never bothered to learn verbal combat, because they were too busy being pussies.

I was watching that this morning thinking Berkley should just leave the burnt out garbage where it is, and not repair the damage. Just leave the windows busted out of the dorms or student center or what ever. Broken glass all over the place? Leave it. Call it, "You don't poop where you eat and/or sleep - 101".

Their biggest offense is giving cowardly cucs like you and Milo another bitching point. But I guess it is true when those snowflakes get together the supposed tough guys run away and cry because snowstorms suck to get caught in when you are useless.

The thing that makes this all laughable is how Democrats all claimed that if Hillary lost, they'd just be disappointed, and if Trump lost, his supporters would be the ones to get angry, yet we've seen that isn't the case. We've also seen how utterly untrue the "Love Trumps Hate" slogan that's been parroted about is. And the real knee-slapper is that all the people accusing the people they don't like of being Nazis (including Milo, who is a gay, Jewish Nazi) are the ones out there acting like brownshirts.

I know plenty of people who were disappointed by the election, and not a single one who has committed an act of violence as a result. Yet we had posters right here on WF who said they were going to start shooting people if Trump lost.

Also, ever notice how protests start out nice and peaceful, and then these assholes dressed in black show up and start smashing shit up? Pretty convenient for those who want to deligitimize any form of protest.

And I see plenty on Facebook who might not have done any violence themselves, but certainly defend those who have. Hell, on the SF Debris fan page, there were some arguing that punching someone in the face and violence in general was a valid form of protest and a form of free speech.

    Who? Quote them.

When I think of protests against Milo and Trump, I can't really say "starts out nice and peaceful" really comes to mind. This also doesn't explain what's been seen on social media, unless you want to claim they're all paid shills.

It's as Quest says above. Peaceful protest, then the jerks in the convenient masks show up and the thing goes to hell.

If you ask the cui bono? question, you have to at least allow the possibility that these fuckers were in Milo's pay. Very Seriously. This was Standard Nixon Procedure. So why not here? Not to mention Trump's inaugural.

Sorry, but some protesters getting out of control is nothing like the Brownsville considering they are not the ones in power. The problem with the Nazis was not that they were some bunch of violent protesters, but rather that they were the people in power and they liked to wage war and kill certain types of people. It should also be noted that at no time was the freedom of speech of Milo the wussy ever violated. He has his venues and freedom of speech does not guarantee you get to speak everywhere. It does not even protect your speech on college campuses because it only refers to congress. Oh, and if these protesters were actually Nazis Milo wood have been killed or imprisoned while they wood make every effort to cleanse his speech from the wood. It would be a lot worse than Mr cuc going home and bitching about how bad things are that he cannot spew hate because people want to kick his ass for it.

Oh, and if anyone wants to see the right wing deplorables silencing any speech they did not like all they need to do is watch footage of most of trump's events while he was running. I don't think anyone assaulted Mr cuc.

Some of you people really are ignorant of what Nazi oppression is and you need to shut the fuck up.

Milo recently used a speaking engagement at another university to single out and harass a trans student. Put her name and picture up on the big screen and everything. Guess what his fanboys did to her after that?

    So no, fuck Milo.

Maybe, but at least in fifty years we won't have our kids and grandkids asking us why we didn't speak out against such rubbish speech.

For all the backlash against PC in this election, I don't think that has a chance of becoming mainstream. Milo was in no danger of converting any alt-righters at Berkeley, and there was only one reason he picked that school among many, many others.

There's a reason Milo does the university tour - it's low hanging fruit. It's literally the easiest venue to get the reactions he wants.

He takes advantage of the young and inexperienced students there that are ultra progressive and ultra sensitive. I mean we're talking about places that have safe spaces and snapping your fingers instead of clapping because clapping is "offensive". These are easy targets that don't know how to deal with real life yet.

So Milo is really nothing special or ground breaking, what he does isn't difficult, he's just doing the path of least resistance to achieve his goals. He's shooting fish in a barrel, it's not a hard thing to do at all.
