This is exactly the issue. The man is such a child about stupid shit like this, that its obvious he is woefully incapable of holding this position and doing this job.
Worse, it orders us not to believe our own eyes. Donald and his minions will keep doing this forever. Challenged that last week he tweeted the opposite of what he's now saying, he'll retort that this is all media lies, as if that settles it, as if his own contempt for the facts in telling which way is up somehow isn't easily verifiable. We're in for an extremely weird ride here.
The attendance thing wouldn't have been much of a thing but for the injured ego of Hair Furor. So he get's pissed enough to hang Speicer out to dry and then, the reports suggest, he was pissed that Speicer went to far. Not content to let it go, he trots Kellyanne Methface out on the Sunday morning shows to tell us that Speicer was providing us with "alternative facts" and to try her "look, a squirrel!!" routine over and over again. Meanwhile on the other channel, Pribus was doing his part to sing they "stop picking on us!!!!" song on Fox It really is all rather astonishing. The only real question is, is this crowd really THAT pathetic, or is all this a distraction campaign where we are encouraged to laugh at the jesters while the real damage is done out of the spotlight.
#alternativefacts - Wordforge Edition! #AF - Dayton is our most respected member #AF - the man who was President on Thursday now posts here #AF - the board deeply misses the profound contributions of Ramen and gturner
I'm beginning to think this is a "Let's let Trump do his idiot thing and get the press focused on that so they don't notice all the crap the Houses are pulling" move. For example, a bill has been introduced (co-sponsored by enough Southern Staters to fill a porch) to withdraw the US from the UN. Barely a peep in the media.
In another example of Trump's inability to restrain himself when provoked, a day or so after Rahm Emmanuel dissed him at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for spending too much time focused on his crowd size and ratings rather than actually doing his fucking job, Trump tweets that if Emmanuel can't get the rate of gun crime in Chicago down soon, he'll "send in the Feds!". I'm sure these two matters are completely unrelated.
No.. pretty sure it was the fact she's an idiot who couldn't effectively run a state with a population barely comparable to a suburban city.
Same as they've been doing since 2005. It's already been referred to committee to die, which is why the media doesn't care; they know it's GNDN. People who get all up in arms about irrelevant things just make it easier for Trump to get away with bad shit. Go after the signal, folks, not the noise.
So what's the point of the wall then? Sounds like some sort of "make work" project that'll be nothing but a money pit.
I brought this up a long time ago - the criminals/smugglers will always be one jump ahead of "John Law". When the bad guys want to do something they don't have to jump through hoops, they just do it. You as a president have a lot on your plate. You as a guy building a tunnel to move your product into the US have one thing on your plate - building that tunnel. Sorry, but if I were Trump I would have stayed away from the whole "wall" thing and focus on getting the illegal alien criminals who are here incarcerated right here in the US and never let them leave, full stop. Stop deporting them (in which case they return over and over) and lock their ass up. Mexico would do the same to a US citizen! Bottom line we need a legal wall not an actual wall.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony for the Coast Guard Academy (BTW, Trump wants to cut the budget of the CG to help pay for the wall), Trump claims no politician has ever been more mistreated than him.
IIRC, historically the Tutsi's dominated most positions of power in Rwanda despite being in the minority in terms of population. Thus, by your own definitions of "minority" and "majority" the Tutsi leader of Rwanda is NOT a member of a minority group
At the time of the genocide, the government was controlled by the majority Hutu population. Based on this, it appears that the Tutsi were the dominant political power from some time in the 15th Century until 1959. So, you do not recall correctly.
Hear that, Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, JFK, RFK, and all the people the Nazis purged? You had it easy, you sissies!
The Rwandan genocide (the biggest one) was nearly a quarter a century ago. And what happened in the aftermath? The Tutsi's raced in and took power again led by Tutsi Paul Kagami. Who I've heard by central African standards turned out to be a reasonably good leader.
So, by your logic, blacks are no longer a minority in America, since Obama was President. As was Obama, by American standards, which has no bearing on the discussion at all. Not that I'd expect you to admit that, since you only recognize the possibility of being wrong after we spend literally years hammering away at you. See your infamous hit and run incident for the prime example of this.
And don't forget my getting health insurance using the ACA. But are you sure you're not overestimating the amount of influence people here actually have on me?
I always knew it was wrong. I just get annoyed and defensive when something that no one would've known anything about if I had not mentioned it is then used against me.
I may have been born in the morning, but I wasn't born this morning. If you'd have thought it was wrong, you'd have never mentioned it, let alone claimed that your mother and a couple of cops thought it was "funny." All of which makes you an admitted liar. Either you lied when you claimed that there was nothing wrong with what you did, or you're lying now. None of which makes you look good. In fact, it makes you look worse, since there's no way any of us here could have ever known about the incident, unless you had brought it up.
