^Not following your reasoning Tuckerfan. But IIRC we have already established that you will never believe anything that casts me in a good light. Correct me if I'm mistaken but I think you openly admitted that? Or was that shootER? Who knows who cares. The people who criticize me all blend together in a featureless blur that I have neither the time, interest, or inclination to sort out.
Which is consistent with your PRAXIS scores. No, but you've whined about that in the past. Obviously you do, or you wouldn't keep bringing it up. Bullshit. Your teenaged "Oh, I'm just so above it all that I can't be bothered, even though I repeatedly mention that I can't be bothered" routine isn't fooling anyone.
I don't have to believe anything, I've seen your PRAXIS scores, so I know that while you can regurgitate things, you're incapable of understanding what they mean.
Actually, I do. You posted your scores, remember? And your ability to comprehend the meanings of subjects was barely passing, while your other scores were significantly higher. IIRC, @Anna was one of the first people to comment on it in your greatest hits thread.
. Once again, given you have no idea what the test you are referring to involves I'll give you a pass. If you happen to guess what is on the test you are referring to then I'll give you credit.
I neither have to guess nor know. The simple fact is that if you barely passed a segment of the test, in this case, one related to comprehension, it's a clear indication that you're not a well-rounded person, and aren't the hot shit which you claim to be. A well-rounded person would have scores which fell into roughly the same range at all areas, and not vary wildly, as yours do. Furthermore, since comprehension is actually more important than knowing things like dates, it demonstrates that you are, at best, barely qualified to hold a teaching position.
Someone who posts an example of bad behavior, then proceeds to spend years defending that behavior, only to claim that they knew it was bad behavior all along, is absurd.
Don't you think a person can do something bad yet honestly believe the criticism they get for it is excessive and unjustified?
You get the amount of criticism you do based on the fact that you still consider yourself superior to most people here when all the facts show that you're no better than anybody on the board and a great deal worse than many.
In theory. But in most people you can't draw a straight line from one to the other. I can cite examples if you wish. One example you might be familar with: President Richard Nixon. By all that is known he loathed Jews. He often ranted and raved about them negatively. But in actions? President Nixon was arguably the best friend Israel ever had in the oval office. He saved Israel in 1973 at great risk to the United States.
Nixon didn't loath Jews, he made one his sec of state. Now, he did use common phrases and name calling typical of his period. He used the n word when angry and he frequently would tell staff "someone find me my Jew boy" to refer to Kissinger when a crisis erupted but in the end he and Kissinger were good friends and had great confidence in each other. That was just the culture at the time to say stuff like that just like he would refer to Italians as wops and Chinese as chinks.
Having friends of a certain group or race doesn't mean you aren't racist (or antisemite in this case). How many times have people used the general phrase "some of my best friends are____________" to claim they aren't racist or whatever.
If the supposed animus doesn't manufest itself beyond using common terms and phrases from the period in question while his actual actions prove that he is open minded and fair to the people in qustion then...
What do Jews (or, more accurately, a single Jew) have to do with Israel? This is something I've never understood. The Right seems to reflexively defend Israel from any sort of attack, yet we see an awful lot of anti-semitism here in the states. What's up with that.
In the simplified world of Supply Side Jesus, Israel and her people (THE JEWS!!!!!!) must be protected at all costs, or else the United States will lose God's blessing as the Greatest Nation In The World™, and be on the wrong side of the apocalypse when Jesus returns to love his people until so much blood is spilled that it rises up to the horse's bridle. This means that as long as we support Israel the State, we also support the Jews, so begrudging them for killing Jesus is okay. It's kind of a gimme.
I don't believe that. But Israel is the only western style democracy in a sea of various forms of absolutist governments. And Israel did lend massive assistance to the U.S. during the Vietnam War almost certainly saving the lives of hundreds of American pilots. See the book "Dark Eagles" detailing how Israel provided a number of Migs to the U.S. during the Vietnam War enabling dissimilar combat training for American pilots against them and development of effective tactics.
I don't care. What I just stated was what we were taught in our glorious fundamentalist non-denominational church, and it's something that people like Rod Parsley, John Hagee, Jimmy Swaggart, and all the other super rich white Christian assholes still preach today. Walk into almost any non-denom, pentecostal, or baptist mainline church, and you will hear the story of how we must defend and stand by Israel, and why. Mmm, no, I'd rather not waste my time on anything even tangentially related to doing homework for you.
I tend to disagree with your statement. My actions are curtailed/limited by having to function successfully in society. My attitude might scream out "I am going to fuck your wife/daughter and beat your ass half to death if you confront me" but if I did that, I would die or go to prison - so my actions are to behave myself. Watch how commuters behave in heavy traffic and see if there aren't a shit-load of bad attitudes that rarely (thank goodness) boil over into violence.
