assuming you are talking about strictly physical attraction (setting aside money, status, sense of humor, etc.etc) I'm quite sure being fifty pounds overweight is not on the list of desirable attributes for either gender. In other words a woman might be married to a typical schlub but if she want a no-strings attached fuck-buddy he will generally be a step up in the physically attractive department. True enough. Although, I don't play the alpha game as I find 90% of the time it's made up of posturing and brinkmanship. Instead I rely on the fact that I'm looking at least as good as I did 15 years ago (construction build, all my hair) and have earned social position/authority rather than presumed it. I don't think anyone can honesty argue that his claims that he is a billionaire didn't influence her opinions of him. That said, humans have a remarkable power at self delusion. They ignore bright red flags vecause they don't want to see them. Also they stick around far longer than they should because they "made their nest" and there is a natural instinct to protect that even when they know all is not right. Was she a gold digger? Yes, I think that is impossible to deny. Of course, she very well might have found some of his traits charming, she wouldn't be the first mate to over loom flaws and I doubt she will be the last. As a side question... How old is too old? How much older has tge bed partners of each person here been and how much younger? I agree the Trumps (version 3.0) have an unsettlingly large age difference but I know I have had partners 16 years older and I have had partners almost 20 years younger. I never married any of them. I confess the larger the age difference the less I found in common with them beyond sex. We were just at different life stages.
