good call! Those are some long-legged jokers no doubt about it. If basketball was never invented, they would have no career. Seriously - can you think of any former basketball player who has ever made it in any sport except basketball? It will never happen. Basketball players are tough and strong. Not in the same way that football players are (though a number of basketball players, including Lebron James, would make excellent football players) but they're plenty strong and have tremendous stamina compared to athletes in other sports.

I thought he was implying that most basketball ball players have no other marketable skills other than being tall that if they weren't basketball players, they wouldn't be productive in society. Since a lot basketball players are black I thought he was implying that black people or at least black basketball players are dumb and wouldn't be able to get any other kind of job. I would allow a pass for a small, unobstrusive flag on a helmet, like the uniform patches that the Scouts and armed forces use. For the armed forces, it's a good way to identify the country a serviceman/woman's serving.
But to use it as a defining motif would be violating the code.
