That’s all bullshit. I’m about as SJW as someone can get and still be reasonable about other opinions. I let a lot of shit go by in TNZ. You just can’t use slurs, which a lot of idiots like to do because they either think it’s shocking and funny or they’re actually a real bigot. I don’t give a shit about anyone’s political opinion. I’ll criticize how some argue it because I happen to like several conservative posters because it’s fun to argue with them. I want a debate and we can insult each other all they want, but at least be able to actually argue your point. Don’t just be a fucking idiot who believes something because they were told to. It’s just going to be some moron repeating the same shit over and over like a broken record. It’s boring and pointless.

Hell I only believe in enforcing the slur rule because I personally think it just leads to trolling. I think allowing them to be used in a discussion about them. But mostly it’s used for shock value or to get a reaction out someone in an effect to change the discussion.

And honestly if it we're up to just me, I might have let the fucker return after some time, but Gul and shootER were sick of his constant dribble and playing the How Far Can I Push the Envelope game and the crap some you pulled, including attacking on some people's Blue Room threads when the board went bonkers didn't help.

Also, by the way, Gul was thisclose to shutting the whole shit down. I managed to talk people down to at least sleep on it, which is why I ultimately stepped down.

Anyone remember when that Jeriko bloke would say things like wishing he could ride liberals like ponies, Sokar bragging about all the crybaby pussy libs he and his goons ran off, how literally every poster of color went at Storm Rucker's racist schtick and how no one whining about Baby Dum Dum's white feelings cared about any of that shit for years, but now we do it back and suddently it's bad?

Sokar was the first person I put on ignore because he was just an idiot. Garamet was only second (and so far the last) in about nine years and for much the same reason.

 

He was an owner/admin thus why he was threatening to close the place, like a bitch, without even asking if anyone wanted to take it over. That was just the type of bitch he was. Didn't understand he was just a keeper who's job was to pass the site on like how others passed it on to him.

 

He wasn't a "keeper," he was part owner. Since he was paying his share of the site's cost, that means he had a right to push forward those options. @Anna did indeed talk him out of it. Things were so fucked up that it wouldn't have taken much for the others to agree with him. I was given the word to shut it all down. Instead, I waited because I knew he was very upset. At that point, @Anna managed to talk Gul into thinking it over. You were a handful of hours, tops, from losing Wordforge, and you never even knew it.

 

People have mentioned it several times and, yes, self centered Gul was neither a founder nor even an important figure. He got ownership claiming it would be kept in safe hands and everyone understood they were just stewards to keep the place going or hand it off when they got tired of it. Even the half of the board who left because they did not think such a person was trustworthy.

That people like you and Gul did not understand that just goes to show why you were always horrible choices who never should have been trusted to begin with.

 

He was part owner of the board. Nothing you say will change that, but far be it from me to tell you exactly what was happening in a situation for which I was there but you were unaware. If I wouldn't have hesitated, if Anna wouldn't have talked it [the idea of closing the board] down, you wouldn't be whining here now. You'd be somewhere else, bothering entirely different people.

Based on my limited experience with him he seems too stupid to even understand what he's saying. It's like a child using a swear word, they just know it's bad.

 

Fuck you, Seriously, fuck you. This place was a haven for free speech during what seemed, at the time, extremely contentious conflicts. The aftermath of 9/11, the Iraq War, Katrina, the global economic downturn. At the time, WF was founded and ruled by an Austrian uber-liberal, dominated in numbers by libertarians and conservatives and some neo-cons, moderated by a mixed group, and we all managed to fight and holler at one another and yet keep discourse alive, with more than enough drama to spare. It is only in the last two years or so that the truly dark racist bullshit that you and others peddle have brought several people here to the brink of their tolerance. And while I still think the free speech experiment is worth it and will defend it, when I see you spout off against the owners that made your diatribes possible and whose successors still do, at least I'll take the same liberty afforded me and say GO FUCK YOURSELF.

Well, hell, he wanted to kill the place anyway so given the choice between him arrogantly killing the place because people criticized his poor behavior or him leaving... Well, him having a hisy fit and leaving is obviously the better option even if regrettable.

That we were ever in that situation shows why he was a bad choice for handing the batton to.

 

He probably will and I will even welcome him as a member. He should not be in a position of authority though. The banning of GT without him breaking any rules proves that much.
